Press any key Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 I recently realized that I have not used Windows Paint in over a year. Has it pasted its use-by-date?
redder Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Hell yeah of course I use Paint!!! Just look at what I can do with it!
Gouki Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Paint is a basic app for basic needs. It gets the simple jobs done.
SiMoNsAyS Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 never since i removed it with nlite i highly recommend any1 outhere to move over 'The GIMP' which is free and has many more functions
gunsmokingman Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 I use Ms Paint for simple things because it loads up faster then PSP9 I use, forthe more complex things.
Scubar Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Always loved MS Paint although Paint.NET is a better replacement.
DigeratiPrime Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 i have used it, to paste screenshots using the 'print screen' key. thats about it.
ripken204 Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 I use Ms Paint for simple things because it loads up faster then PSP9 I use, forthe more complex things.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>same here, photoshop just takes way too long to load
gamehead200 Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 I use it for quick things, such as simple screenshots!
HyperHacker Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 All the time. It loads fast and can do screenshots and simple editing. I just wish I didn't have to type file extensions manually for them to be lowercase.
Asin Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 i have used it, to paste screenshots using the 'print screen' key. thats about it.Same here. What's great is that you can save it in JPEG format in the end.
HybridShadow Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Yep paint rules for little thingsScreenshots and stuffLoads nearly instantly and has limited features but works wellAlso keeps little kids at school happy
techniquefreak Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 I use paint occasionally - when logged on to a computer w/o another image program or after fresh install when i've not yet installed such a program ...That being said - it's extremely limited in function. Wonder when they (M$) "unofficially" stopped development on ms paint, deciding it was good for another 10 years - LOL ...
dougiefresh Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 I have very simple requirements. Don't even have another paint program......
army20 Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Like DigeratiPrime I use it only for print screen
