Wow, never realized how man warez kiddies we have on this site... :) Our business server doesn't even have half the space that most of you have on your home PCs. And I don't care what you do... there is nothing that will justify 500+ GB that is legal...

4x 160GB Maxtors

1x 185GB Hitachi

1x 80GB Maxtor

Total 905GB

Use to be

4x 160GB Maxtors

2x 185GB Hitachi's (until one refuse to be reconzied by the RAID card unless I unpluded it and pluged it back in just after post  then week later just after I back it all up the other drive died, so got replacement on warrenty  so close one!)

1x 80GB Maxtor

1x 20GB Maxtor 2MB cache

Old Total 1110GB (1.1TB)

Getting 2 300GB Maxtor as they are the cheapest per gig now at 43p (Inc VAT) per gig and 2 will eat my 4x 160GB maxtor raid0 up in one so I can migrate them to a new server board when I get it, hoping to get a new Asus A8N none SLi but seems it doesnt exist anymore  Oh well looks like I will have to go with the SLi I need the extra 4 SATA connectors I get thats why!

Wow... I'm one of the "small" people here.

I've got an 80GB drive in my laptop, a 40GB backup drive that I'll probably end up putting in my desktop, and a 40GB system drive in my desktop. Current working total is 120GB.

I'm probably gonna get two 80GB drives for my desktop system (in RAID) and a 200GB drive for storage this coming summer. The 200GB drive will be for backing up all of my stuff, including my system drive on my laptop.

And yes, I'll agree with un4given1, the amount of space that some people have is sickening...

Edit: Oh... and add a 256MB flash drive and a 40GB external drive as well... so maybe it should read 160GB. I'm probably gonna get me a Neuros MP3 player this summer as well, 40GB should do me well for a few years (I've already got 15GB of music, all perfectly legal).
