Jeremy Posted March 17, 2005 Share Posted March 17, 2005 East-Tec Eraser is awesome for wiping! As for 7 passes "just to be sure"... files can be recovered up to 35 levels. But since 7 passes is enough to prevent both software and hardware recovery, it's all you need. I found a freeware app a while back simply called Eraser but it was buggy.
