lilweirddude Posted February 27, 2005 Author Posted February 27, 2005 hm...everyone seems to like foobar but in the screenshots it looks uglyis it skinnable?plus, dont ask me why, i like to see my album art
MCT Posted February 27, 2005 Posted February 27, 2005 u can get an album art plugin for foobarits skinable with plugins, theres a ton of different plugins for foobar availablebut im a minimalist when it comes 2 foobar.. its small, fast & only uses 2MB of ram, heres a screenshot
lilweirddude Posted February 27, 2005 Author Posted February 27, 2005 ack, i hate looking for plugins
shof515 Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 Question about foobar:When loading songs into foobar, does it read Media Data(or w/e wmp calls) for the songs names and stuff like that?
MCT Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 it reads the media.. u have options u can edit, to whether or not 2 display song titles, album names, length, genre.. about 30 different options
Zxian Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 Are there any other media players out there that are easily configurable to have Global hotkeys like WinAmp has? That's the only reason why I haven't switched away from WinAmp yet.
un4given1 Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 I know I'm gonna get a lot of crap for this one.. but I like using WMP. It already built in. It does the job. I used to use DJ2000 but they haven't updated it in forever, so I just use WMP.
Zxian Posted February 28, 2005 Posted February 28, 2005 I never was able to get a grasp of playlists in WMP... that was the big reason why I switched over to Winamp back in the 2.x days.Whatever works!
Jeremy Posted March 6, 2005 Posted March 6, 2005 I use Zoom Player for media.1By1 for MP3.I have tried MPC, BSPlayer, VideoLAN. VLC sucks no question. BSPlayer is alright except I couldn't find where to set it to play the file over again automatically (loop). MPC is great except everytime the file hits a high volume the audio thereafter goes down and never normalizes.
