DigeratiPrime
Thanks I do hope this helps some people. I added Screenshots from Excel which I used to copy and Sort his list better for us tweakers. In case you didn't notice I omitted the Services that are already Disabled in SP2 or are ESSENTIAL for Windows to Function.

evilvoice
while I think it is great that you compiled this list, it says on his site, under current news that he is not finished with the services yet. Also, in mine, I added his descriptions also...when he finishes, I will post a full reg file with descriptions and his settings, but not until I am sure he is done...But not to be discouraging, Great Job DigeratiPrime! Also, I dont think mine is SAFE, but a combination of all the settings, because some things I dont see a reason to have started...Also, be aware that for some reason, I dunno if it is one of the other services not in SAFE that I turned to manual or disabled, but windowsupdate does not work, so if you find that after applying these, windowsupdate does not work, then I would suggest starting from scratch and going service by service to find which service it is that is causing the problem...I would look for the service myself, but I just disabled windowsupdate, since you can download from ms anyways without using windowsupdate
Yzöwl
Just in case anyone was interested, I posted an inf to set both Home and Pro Editions on a UA install, back in November. The inf is also uninstallable, from the Add/Remove Programs menu, where it will set all the settings back to windows defaults.Windows XP SP2 Service Configurations@evilvoice - They certainly haven't changed since October, so I wouldn't worry about that too much. maxXPsoft
I'm afraid I'd say don't rob from the man. Point to his page instead of loading all his stuff. I've had that link several year's. He does supply so much more if you take a look.Credit where credit is due. He supplies so much on Service Configuration's and you don't cover it all http://www.blackviper.com/WinXP/service411.htm
