Ok.. I lied. I said I wouldn't do my laptop again, but it's changed a bit... and I love it.

VS - Sentinel by ChaNinja (slight mod - not to be released, don't have permission)

Wallpaper - Ripped from someone elses screenshot over at Samurize.com :P

Icons - Elements Icons (from deviantArt)

AveDesk 1.3 with working FTP desklet (that's what's below the Winamp desklet) :thumbup

Winamp skin - Multipass

Any other questions just ask.

P.S. - I'd rather that my desktop be a finalist, before any one suggests this. My laptop already won last month, so I should enter something else. :)

dude that desktop in like scary and cool at the same time :thumbup

oh.... :blushing:

Yeh some of their stuff is nice, some I think is a bit.... to fancy and not too functional. They have a bad habit at using tiny fonts

P.s. Ripken, did you make icon config yourself or use someone elses?

i pretty much wasted all of yesterday figuring out samurize. i made that icon layout myself. the tough part was finding icons in at least 48x48 so that they would look sweet. and then editing the icons to get rid of background colors if there was any. i also added the c:,d:,e: to the drives. photoshop is nice to have for this stuff :). i also made a winamp control on the bottom right. i took the buttons from one of the winamp skins. i am not using the way samurize wants us to run winamp, i found another program on the winamp site that does it very nicely without a cmd prompt box poping up like the samurize way is. also on the way bottom right i made a little up and down button for adjusting the volume.
