ps: @DL, one of the theories by Stephen W. Hawking, let us understand that the universe at this moment is expanding but slowly than millions years ago after the big-bang. also we know that stellar bodies attrack themselves with a force so that let us understand that "someday" the universe will contract itself and in a LONG time a new big bang will come. i'm not a geek at physics (i'm at movies :)), this is just a theory and it can't be explained with "common" words (also for me is difficult to describe it in english :P).
