Quick Eye Exam...

This will blow your mind...!

Just do it - don't cheat!

Count the number of F's in the following text:

FINISHED FILES ARE THE

RESULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC

STUDY COMBINED WITH THE

EXPERIENCE OF YEARS

Managed it?

Scroll down only after you have counted them!

OK?

How many?

Three?

Wrong, there are six - no joke!

Read again!

FINISHED FILES ARE THE

RESULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC

STUDY COMBINED WITH THE

EXPERIENCE OF YEARS

The reasoning is further down...

The brain cannot process the word "OF".

Incredible or what?

Anyone who counts all six F's on the first go is a genius

Three is normal.

Do you seriously mean it when you said the genius part? I honestly read six Fs in that text!

Are you supposed to do it really quickly or something? I did it at an average speed. :D

I had 6 but maybe I am not "affected" since French is my primary language.

There is another study that says you can easily read a text with scrambled words as long as the first and the last letter are correct:

FEHINISD FLEIS ARE THE RUELST OF YREAS OF SIFITNEICC SDTUY CMBIOEND WTIH THE ECNEIXREPE OF YREAS

Maybe this is not a good example but you get the idea...

i've read something like that a few time ago... and

and was funny. the text was really long and after

after you finish it, you don't notice that between line and

and line there was a word which was repeated.

did you? ;)

ps: 3 counted :realmad::)
