Spunge Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005
Am I the only one here that uses DC++? [post="178995"][/post]
Nope! BCDC++ being choice of client though. Azureus for bittorrent but I lost interest in torrents after Supernova took a dive. Anyone know of any good sources for tv series (specially Enterprise )?
Krisstheking Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 DC++ is the best. dc++ is a P2P and chat client. Where the servers are called hubs. On hubs its users to download from. And some hubs has 100MBIT users only, and if you get into one 100mbit hub then your the KING! So too all kazza/limewire users please try dc++. ITS BETTER!
sonu27 Posted February 19, 2005 Posted February 19, 2005 I want to, but I'll just wait for version 1.
azagahl Posted February 20, 2005 Posted February 20, 2005 Is there a good P2P for finding obscure, ancient files? I don't want music/movie/warez.
Jeremy Posted February 22, 2005 Posted February 22, 2005 If you want the odd ones, go for FileTopia. Newest of all and oldest of everything else. Chat rooms and rules too. Quite political over there.
sonu27 Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 I installed DC++ and my fisr impression is that it is crap. And I think it still is. Uninstalled! Then I installed Limewire, said that it need Java to be installed for it to work. Uninstalled!
angadsingh007 Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 Why use P2P software any.. Everything is available on IRC // BitTorrent // Direct Links on Forums // The Google GOD Anyway, for music//videos, Ares and Kazaa are best
MCT Posted February 26, 2005 Posted February 26, 2005 kazaa is run down now & overcome with spyware.. kazaa lite turns up 2 few results now use shareaza
albator Posted March 22, 2005 Posted March 22, 2005 Shareazaa is slow for torrents, use abc for that protocol, I suggest and tweak the mininum peer setting...
nitroy2k Posted March 23, 2005 Posted March 23, 2005 Hm you can use youshareit.com if u want to transefrs up to 50mb... its better then p2p if u ask me
kurt476 Posted April 2, 2005 Posted April 2, 2005 i use WinMX p2p and bittorrent they are the best software and sites i been on i think anyways
DiGGiTY Posted April 4, 2005 Posted April 4, 2005 I'm a heavy P2P user, so I've found that it is almost impossible to use only one P2P client. For bittorrents, I use BitComet. I do tons of 2-5GB downloads on the Bittorrent network. My favorite multi-network client is Morpheus. It allows me to connect to multiple networks, and tons of peers for mega-fast downloads. I can get 700-800K download speed on here.
