These banners mean nothing.  Or, better yet, "don't tell the whole story".

It is in the form of an empty page with those words, it's not a banner. Console is suspiciously empty. Yes, its v.118. And it only started very recently.

No extensions.  No nothing, just default everything.

I already tried only with uBlock, only basic lists, nothing custom, light reducing extension, all the same.

No interest in Cent Browser so did not try with it.  I have to assume it's newer that v122, I get you confused with your "likers" but I thought you were against any browser more than a couple versions old.

It's not related to ones browser,

Patreon uses a fingerprinting technique, proof.

Regardless, I cannot replicate in any of the following:

360Chrome 13.5.1030 (v86)
Ungoogled Chromium v122
Ungoogled Chromium v118 (same as Cent, if I understand correctly)
Serpent 52 (2023-07-31)
Mypal 27.9.4 (2018-07-19)

Is anyone else in the US or GB/UK getting an "outdated browser" message at Patreon ???
I'm not going through a VPN but I also don't get any "outdated browser" at work (I think the lab benches go through a VPN, but I'm not positive).

That reddit is from THREE YEARS AGO and your issue in Cent started "out of the blue" just this past Wednesday.

See about the mismatches in 7.

Fair enough.  But that was also not yet posted at the time of my entry.

That arrived on 8/21 where my entry was on 8/18.  Until the 8/21 post, everything/everybody/original-OP was all citing XP.

I did not try 7 and to the best of my knowledge, you-and-yours only run Vista ExKern (which I have to assume is as close to 7 as one can get without actually being on 7).

I never ran Vista with Ex-kernel as my daily driver and or gaming/browsing machine. I sometimes partially use it for newer version of browsers to act as a stub (only locally!).

I can't run Vista with the ex-kernel, I don't install the required updates it wants me to.

CH sends whatever it can find (see the later post), even more now, but yeah, right, the sent info is the same as it can obtain on a Win7 machine. That raises even more questions.

If by that you mean my friends, I wouldn't be sure about that. Our favourite AstroSkipper runs XP, Saxon runs Vista (but it's 32bit!). No Kernel for 32bit Vista exists, and so on.

Karla moved to Win8 (if I'm not mistaken), Dixel has a build version mismatch (with the ex-Kernel).

But yeah, neither of us run Win7.

@NotHereToPlayGames Eventually, everything's comes to an end, what are the chances Cloudflare will just die off someday? As with the Telegram case where they finally caught its KGB agent (creator) in my country.

The OP seems to have "recalled" his bug report, citing it was a "problem on their side".

<copy-paste>
The issue actually has somehow been solved, seemingly confirming my theory it was a problem on their side. There is now another error though which I have also gotten on other Chromium browsers when I was problem solving. This one does seem like a browser problem to me (although since it happens on other Chromium browsers it's likely a Chromium problem) and not an Amazon problem, I will create a new bug report.

I should also add though that changing the name of chrome.exe.sig does in fact show the error on Chrome, so it must be that. I wonder if they just disabled that check for Chromium browsers.

This is cool !!!  Looks like Supermium now has an editable file where you can set UA &/or UACH -

<copy-paste>
This file (when extracted) should be placed in the user data root folder (typically %LOCALAPPDATA%\Supermium\User Data):
uao.zip
</copy-paste>
