Besides, I am sure NVIDIA's R550 Vulkan beta driver will be replaced by new driver branch which only works on Windows 11 compatible CPU when NVIDIA releases Blackwell GPUs in 2025, so old CPUs like AMD's Phenom2 or Intel's Core2 will be affected. There is more to computer use than the retail market. In the US there are people who buy the old computers and send them overseas to Africa and other regions, for use by communities and organisations that still need computers.
FantasyAcquiesce Posted December 5, 2024 Posted December 5, 2024 Simple, just keep my Windows 10 PCs and keep using them until there's a reason to replace them. I'm not forking over 600 USD for another laptop for the exact same tasks as my Windows XP machines. 1
yoltboy01 Posted May 13 Author Posted May 13 Microsoft just announced that Office 365 Apps will continue to be supported till October 2028, with the limitation that security/performance issues might occur. I'm not quite sure if they will continue with Feature Updates (2511, 2512, 2601..) or if Windows 10 will freeze at 2510. I cannot immagine that there will be a feature freeze in October, since Microsoft states that Server 2022 (based on W10 21H2) will be supported till October 2026 with M365 updates. So, they would have to Freeze 22H2 before 21H2, which is unlikely. Nonetheless, I am already waiting for the Bypass Tools

Tripredacus Posted Tuesday at 01:15 AM Posted Tuesday at 01:15 AM What do they mean by apps? Are they only referring to stuff that comes from the Store and not traditional executable programs?

I don't think they have done a statement on the Microsoft Store on Windows 10 yet. I guess the Microsoft Store itself will be supported with feature updates till 2026 and the servers will probably be available till 2028
