@Felipefpl Use the filter list "AdGuard Base" from the group "Ads"! This will prevent the detection of uBlock Origin Legacy on the website www.ovagames.com. I have just tested it successfully. :thumbup

This is weird.

I want to reply to the post of @AstroSkipper above, but I get:

This happens to me all the time, and very often I don't know what the actual problem is. The forum post editor is a disease. :thumbdown  And this untenable situation has existed for months now. :realmad:

Thanks for posting additional information about my mod! However, the cited post of mine is unfortunately misleading and should be still replaced by the corrected one. Otherwise, someone could think the updating over an existing installation (1.16.4.32 or 1.16.4.33) of uBlock Origin Legacy would also work which is of course not the case. The manual updating over an existing installation of my mod will only work in terms of the internal list of all offered filter lists (assets.json) starting with version 1.16.4.34 and above. After installing this internal list from version 1.16.4.34, it will then be updated automatically in the future. Anyway! Thanks again for spreading the news! :)

Not possible for me to edit any more.

Ok!? Is it not possible to edit posts in the Pale Moon forum afterwards? :dubbio: I only know this from the Malwarebytes forum. I personally hate such restrictions.

After a certain amount of time the Edit button is gone...

No problem. Then that's the way it is. Actually, people should get their information here anyway. Sometimes, it's not so easy to express exactly what you want to say in a foreign language. In most cases, I think I manage that, but unfortunately not always. smilie_denk_24.gif

You don't have permission to access this resource.

Hi nicolaasjan, I think this can happen if you insert Link (replace URL with text) into your post. Try to post without the Link, then edit your post and add the Link afterwards.

It may also happen if someone else added a reply meanwhile.

I am not sure about this, I am able to reply normally, even if someone has already replied in the background after I finished writing my reply and submitting it. The main reason for this error happening is the embedded links as mentioned by @we3fan.

This issue is already discussed here for your information: https://msfn.org/board/topic/185994-cant-edit-my-first-post-in-thread-error-when-posting-links/

AstroSkipper - i tried adguard and it worked, thanks for your hint. :thumbup

You're welcome. :) When it comes to successfully blocking content using uBlock Origin Legacy, it is very often a question of the right filter list or self-created rule.  A sensible combination of enabled filter lists is very important to successfully block whatever you want to and to keep the memory usage of the used browser as low as possible. This is one of the reasons why I have implemented additional filter lists in my mod and will do so even in the next releases. :P

RealityRipple Software - Pale Moon Extensions

All Pale Moon extensions, created by RealityRipple Software, can be installed in New Moon 28, although their website claims that the extensions are only compatible with Pale Moon 31.*. You just have to modify an entry in the file install.rdf inside each of their xpi files.
Here is an example of their original code:

<em:id>{8de7fcbb-c55c-4fbe-bfc5-fc555c87dbc4}</em:id>
    <em:minVersion>31.0</em:minVersion>
    <em:maxVersion>31.*</em:maxVersion>

And here is the modification:

<em:id>{8de7fcbb-c55c-4fbe-bfc5-fc555c87dbc4}</em:id>
    <em:minVersion>28.10.0</em:minVersion>
    <em:maxVersion>31.*</em:maxVersion>

BTW, these extensions can also be made compatible with Serpent by using the extension Serpent Tester Tool, for example. Here is a link: https://msfn.org/board/topic/183923-extensions-and-custom-buttons-for-uxp-browsers-corrections-modifications-adjustments-and-special-recommendations/?do=findComment&comment=1226306. My recommended extensions from RealityRipple are Grabit, ExtExp, BIZARRE, uTube, MTube, GeoFlag, qrThis, and Open Registry Key. All of them can be installed in New Moon 28 with the modification above without any problems, and they are working fine as expected. ssupercool2.gif

Update notification! update.gif

All extensions from RealityRipple have been updated to version v33.0 or v33.1. Here is the link once again: https://realityripple.com/Software/XUL/ link.gif

As I wrote in my first, introductory post of this thread, I am not only a fan of extensions, but also of custom buttons. I personally use a lot of already existing custom buttons and beyond that, created several on my own in the past. In any case, I will continue to present them here. But at this point, I would like to know how much interest there is in custom buttons among users of @roytam1's browser editions in general. :dubbio: So, feel free to share your thoughts on that topic! :)

To give you an idea idee.gif what makes custom buttons so special, they are very low on memory consumption and can provide features which are not existent in browsers. :thumbup Many of them are very specialised and add features to the browser that cannot even be retrofitted with extensions because they were simply never developed. And of course, we all know that nowadays hardly any new legacy extensions are developed for such browsers, but practically only webextensions. :( Beyond that, the more extensions installed, the more memory consumption, the more inconpatibilities and error messages (browser console), and finally, the less browser performance, depending on your hardware, of course. smilie_denk_24.gif

So, it would be really interesting for me what other users think about custom buttons. Any opinions, experiences or questions are welcome, of course! And it doesn't matter whether you used them in the past or still do.
