VideoLan vlc-0.8.6h-win32 VLC 1.0.5 should be the latest version for Windows NT 4.0, available from my tools section -> https://soggi.org/misc/tools.htm. You may find other last versions of some tools there (f.e Avira UnErase 1.4, CloneSpy 2.63, DirectX Media 6.0, Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.22pre, K-Meleon 1.5.4 or RetroZilla 2.2/2.3). Please note: The latest version for Windows NT 4.0 is not always denoted as "WinNT4" version, sometimes the latest Win9x version etc. could be the latest NT4 version. kind regards soggi Edited June 4 by soggi

If you got it working, then did you use a patch?
soggi Posted June 4 Posted June 4 (edited) I don't have a computer running NT 4.0, so I can't confirm it myself. Can't remember were I got the information from that 1.0.5 is the last version for NT 4.0. Did a quick search and found this post that also confirms 1.0.5 doesn't run correctly -> Resurrecting NT4 in 2016. I guess you also tried 0.8.6i and it didn't work!? I will change the download on my website then... kind regards soggi Edited June 4 by soggi

For it you need PCem or 86box, what is hard, but not very easy. Im not sure what is Dosbox-X NT4 virtual machine support.. Edited Monday at 08:55 AM by ruthan
