but why does it set them to png in the first place? I mean arent unknown files usually sent as download or text? at least in every case I know

I don't intend on installing Windows 10 until Aeroglass works with an .EXE type install. Aeroglass is so cool that not having it makes Windows ugly :-) Thanks again to everyone working on this awesome program. How close is it to getting a install version of it for Windows 10?

First off thanks BM for all your work, along with all the contributors. 

 

I'm sure this will be a noob question, but I am unable to get the rounded corners and such. I got the transparency working, but I guess I'm missing something. I downloaded Noel's "RoundedCornersBlueActive.png" and set it with the GUI.

 

Also, as you will see in my log, I cannot update my symbols to check the MS server. I tweaked the "_NT_SYMBOL_PATH" environment variable, but it still doesn't seem to work. I added ApplicationFrame.dll to the AppInit_DLLs and now get a second window popup with it showing the MS server for the Symbol search path.

You will need also to create registry value RequireSignedAppInit_DLLs in that same key and set it to 0.

Thanks Noel, I was missing the RequireSigned...

 

Not sure if it is normal, but when I reboot it loads a black screen and I can hear the error sound. If I hit enter the screen comes on and Aerohost loads and works.

 

Never mind, it only did it once.
