  8. Sitting in chair and smoking. Yepper, but she would rather have me here instead of out and about. At least I hope so anyway. LOL I'm game. I get the game tomorrow and will look at it this weekend. We'll hook up for sure.
  9. Closer to God I say. w00t Studied that in bible school as a teenager many moons ago. Speculation and conjecture really.
  10. I thought about that and decided to go slow and go balls to the wall later. Good idea. My son and myself might just do that once in a while. Quality time and PC fun at the same time even if just for a little while. Do you have children if I am not being to personal? He is 12 years old and maybe the game is to rough for his age?
  11. Happy Birthday Snoop. Terribly sorry to hear that about your step-son. At least he is okay other that the wound. Happy Birthday
  12. Yes, but I cannot remember exactly how to do it. BAH, look at the guide section "Make Windows Explorer Open Without Displaying My Documents", the process is similar to that if I remember correctly. I will have a look around on my hard drive. I know its there somewhere.
  13. I want a game similar to StarCraft. Not WarCraft 3. I like the aerial view, strategy games. Next weekend I want to give BF 1942 a go because FthrJack needs a good spanking.
  14. Charles, please make a list of your configuration. Takes the guess-work out of the picture
  15. Three ways zipp. 1) The easiest is to buy it from ebay. Really! I posted an ad in the wanted section two years ago for IBM CDs and found a reliable source out of Florida. $15 - $20 per CD-R. If I can find the seller's email/web site tonight I will send it to you. I have not been in touch with him for more than a year. 2) Next easiest way is here SoftThinks.com, http://www.softthinks.com/us/pc-angel-lite-edition.htm, PC Angel Lite Edition. Microsoft OEM System Builders, OEM Mfrs and OEM Resellers only. I mentioned this in our reseller thread. Click Here 3) Make your own. This is of course the hard way. You need the customer's original software (Win 2000) and all the hardware drivers in the PC. Make a bootable CD-R, see my guide in the MSFN Guide Section, How To Create Bootable CDs. Basicly, copy the win2k to your hard drive. Copy the drivers to a folder in the same directory. Burn it and make it bootable. During installation the user will be asked if there are third party drivers to install, the user navigates to the driver folder etc. Thats it in a nut shell. Left out a lot of details, but you would find it easy to figure out.
  16. Here is something I just cannot buy. Wish I could. PC Angel Lite Edition http://www.softthinks.com/us/pc-angel-lite-edition.htm This is the only Microsoft OEM System Builder Recovery CD Technology quoted by Microsoft.
  17. Guess I will have to borrow a game pad. I hate joysticks and have not touched one in years. Thanks for suggesting. The screenies are just unbelieveable.
  18. scared? want me to hold your hand? w00t
  19. Good idea-ear. Tinker always comes up with some good stuff like this.
  20. Good find Tinker. I applied it to my son's PC.
  21. It seems to me that most of the better forums on the internet originate in Europe? Has anyone ever noticed that? I wonder why?
  22. WEW, that is awesome. I just sat here shaking my head. The realisam for a game! My bud is loaning it to me next weekend. It will not run on his PC. Let you know how it goes
