  1. That Apple IIC was an awesome machine in its day! I owned two of them at one time. I still have one of them in storage. Hold onto it. It is a collectors item among the Apple crowd!
  2. Merged. LowRider is new to forums and needs a lil help. Actually he needs a lot of help, lol.
  3. I use a Tyan board for my dual cpu system. Most people recommend Tyan for dual cpu systems.
  4. Thank you "everyone" for the warm wishes and comments. Makes me feel good. I just got out of the hospital today and will be home for a week. Then I will go to a rehab center for three weeks. It was a closed artery and is repaired now. If I knew there were so many pretty nurses at the hospital I would have done this a long time ago. I thank you all kindly
  5. I am afraid I have already explained why you cannot do that in an email. Transitioning from one email document to another email document requires two email documents where one is attached to the original. Quite possible as you pointed out in web pages but not possible in email documents. Try to understand the differences between HTML based web pages and HTML email. The tutorials on the page you provided already explain all that in detail by the way.
  6. You can't. At least I do not know another way to do it like you specified.
  7. I understand what you want to do and as I said you have to link to the images, etc on a server (your own or a commercial). Because you said no attachment right. You see, all those emails are created using an HTML editor or from scratch using notepad or similar. All those images, columns, forms, etc are stored on and linked to a server. The source code is just a simple right-click and view source code. Since you do want to make an attachment or cannot store the images etc on a server and the idea is to have a HTML based page I see no other options. The emails you describe, citi bank etc, are all linked to a server. Right click the body and select source. You will be presented with the source code. Notice that the code links everything to a server.
  8. If the text link(s) do not work then you are not in HTML Mode. The pictures have to be stored on a internet server (your own server or commercial server). You could always create a web based template and/or web page in MS Word (Web Layout Mode) and use that as a base. Then select email this page to an email receipient. Again, pictures have to be stored on a server. Otherwise, download a editable template from the Outlook site where the frames, borders, etc. are embedded (similar to a watermark) and use Word to create text links. The tutorials at the Outlook site will teach you how make your own and then you cae create embedded images. One email program that a lot of people like is called IncrediMail and it is free. It can do just about everything, http://www.incredimail.com/english/splash.html Hope this helps.
  9. Good one XPerties, ROFLMAO. w00t
  10. Select "New" and the default email form opens. Select "HTML" from the drop down menu. Copy and paste the entire web page into the body. Make sure all the pics are hyperlinked properly. Thats it. Also go to the Microsoft Outlook web site and look at the templates and tutorials. Welcome to MSFN priti
  11. If what califdc suggested does not work you can also boot into safe mode before Windows starts. Once in Sfae mode remove Money like califdc suggested or uninstall it completely and reboot back into Windows like normal. Do the Win Sys Restore and attempt to re-install money, this time using the custom installation and define the startup sequence.
  12. WOW, you guys are good.
  13. All good tips. Welcome to MSFN califdc
  14. Its getting hot in here ... time to take off all your clothes Heat. Check the heat dude. After a PC runs for a while it can get hot inside. Are things tidy in the case? Like cables not obstructing air flow. Is your case parked beside a heater. Is the power supply clogged with dirt. Things like that. BTW, It is CTL - ALT - DEL Welcome to the board morfeu
  15. Thats okay ThA_FiLeR. He is an invited guest and new to forums. Thanks for pointing that out. We offer our help with all new members first experiences
  16. How picky? Have you looked at the manufactyrers web site for installation instructions. They offer free technical assistance for student projects. I have learned the best way to install a new NIC with NT (any flavor) is to backup, install it, and bring the whole network online at the same time.
  17. I for one have always enjoyed the videos and remember the first time you were kind enough to post here. Welcome back IntrepidBerkeleyExplorer

  19. actually, the original technology cost about a million bucks when the US Army developed something for a tank called a gyroscope that maintained the tank turret's balance. now look where we are You fine lookin' woman :flowers:
  20. Those are the processes running right before you select shutdown right?
  21. I do not know about the folder that pops up because I need more details. Is it popping up on the desktop or what? The most frequent reason a XP system has to be shut down like that is because there is a background process running. Open task manager, look at the applications and the processes when that happens. Lets us know a little more.
  22. My name is MSNwar and I am an MSFN Junkie.
