The reason for merging the threads is simply because this is the same PC and the same subject. It is easier for everyone to assist you when they know the background. The new threads you created about the same PC do not contain the list of hardware, software, or fixes that have been suggested and applied in the original threads. Otherwise, there will be duplicate questions that have already been answered. That is why people are confused. In one thread you indicate the problem is solved, yet you open another thread and continue the conversation with the same or new problem. Make sense? Remember we are here to help if we can and do it out of our selfless interest to help others. Remember that!

When you are done with the two suggested programs you can change your home page to MSN Search. In Internet Explorer, Tools > Internet Options. Type http://www.search.msn.com Click Ok. Close IE and open once more. Some people using AOL have to close AOL and reboot the PC. Your Internet Options applet will look similar to this one ... See the Temporary Internet Files area of the Internet Options applet. To be on the safe side select the two buttons Delete Cookies and Delete Files once in a while to keep things tidy.
