  1. Just heard from Rev, our host is being attacked again.
  2. It's not yet in the process of moving, don't know what the problem is now.

  4. Happy New Year! It's 10 hours into the new year where I'm from!
  5. It's down for me, can't connect.
  6. The cash I made this Christmas will go to upgrading my car's (Nissan Sylvia S14) Turbo and brake Rotors. I was hoping to have some left over for a processor and mobo upgrade but there will be no more money left!
  7. For those who haven't heard it: http://www.cutestuf.com/flash_1002/ketchup_dance.swf Honestly I get irritated by it but it has a weird way way of continiously playing in my head!
  8. Thank you everyone! Why yes I do show up here from time to time!
  9. Surround sound now is capable of going up to 7.1. I don't see the point though unless you have an overly large-sized room.
  10. What's this doing in feedback? Been partying Drew?
  11. Refresh rates are different compared to conventional CRT's. Mine has a maximum of 75hz which is what I use. It's different cause LCD's/TFT have no flicker when viewing still images, it's only when the image changes that the refresh rate starts. CRT's are always refreshing whether the images are still or moving.
  12. Check them over good at the store for Dead Pixels. Why? It's extremely annoying to bring it home then find out there's a dead pixel/s that you didn't know of.
  13. Have a look at ASUS: http://www.asus.com/products/mb/socket478/...-c/overview.htm
  14. I get around 2 minutes too with my LiteOn 48x12x48 for that amount of data. I also recently got a LiteOn DVD-ROM XJ-HD165H. Got it running region-free in no time! That is a sweet price though Jackpot! Don't forget to check for the latest firmware updates: http://www.liteonit.com./english/english-l...ad-firmware.htm
  15. Windows XP! You want it to run as fast as 2000, use Windows Classic Theme. Windows 2000 is old, you can't even terminate any process using Task Manager.
  16. So this will work even if I don't have a single Seagate drive on my PC? Conan, I have used it on IBM, Maxtor, and Western Digital hard drives in the past. Matter of fact I just used it on a Maxtor this morning. All it does is identify the hard drive and perform the zero-fill. Another good one is the Ontrack Disk Manager. http://www.ontrack.com I use the Ontrack Disk Manager at work when a hard drive needs zero-filled and was previously used with Partition Magic. From the Ontrack FAQ. We have seen in the past that much of the utility software currently popular is quite compatible with Disk Manager. Microsoft native FDISK, Partition Magic, Partition It, and most other partition utilities have no compatibility issues – so far. Both do the same thing. Matter of taste I guess. Thanks for the info!
  17. So this will work even if I don't have a single Seagate drive on my PC?
  18. A "mail error" occured and my post became a duplicate. Mods please delete this post as I cannot delete my own post it seems.
  19. Geforce FX, Intel 3 ghz or AMD 2.8 processor with an Asus motherboard.
  20. A surge protector may not be enough, get a voltage regulator.
