  1. I find Sygate Pro to be the best. I haven't tried Kerio though. I'm a former user of NIS 2002. Sometimes that program would have glitches with some web pages and CPU usage would suddenly shoot up to 100%.
  2. Yup that is bad. It's slightly better than a TNT2 card which is really old.
  3. Here is the full contents of my Cleanup.bat from Langa, hope this will help: *********************************************** @echo off cls echo Fred Langa's CleanXP Script For WinME/2K/XP echo --------------------------------------------------------- echo Copyright © 2002 Langa Consulting echo http://www.langa.com echo --------------------------------------------------------- echo Use Notepad to view this script's contents before running! echo Only you can determine if the file contents and echo structure are OK to run on *your specific* setup. echo Info/Documentation/Etc: echo http://www.langa.com/newsletters/2002/2002-04-04.htm echo ----------- :: This file is offered as-is and without warranty of any kind. :: :: Please note that this is NOT a finished, ready-to-run tool, but is :: a kind of template you can use to *create* a custom tool that’s specific to :: your own particular setup and needs. 4. Speaking for myself I'd say yes. I also use the Cleanup.bat from the Langa Site. Even if you set IE to empty temporary internet files when browser is closed, I find that it doesn't always do it.
  5. Maybe it's because you have them in a RAID array. I've got 2 Maxtor ATA 133's running on an ATA 100 system with no problems.
  6. Yeah right! You're too loyal to AMD to own a Pentium rig!
  7. It's in the /Windows/Media folder under the name Windows XP Startup.wav
  8. In my old PC I was running XP Prof. with a Celeron 333mhz with 256 sdram. Windows 2000 was faster on that machine, more so than 98 or Me.
  9. Winrar is the best for me too.
  10. What happened to the trucking job?
  11. The same exact thing happened to me a while back. After choosing Repair, my mouse cursor was jittery and jumpy. Did a reformat shortly.
  12. Adobe Photoshop 7 and Microsoft Photo Editor.
  13. Are you using Download Accelerator Plus by any chance?
  14. Why don't you download it now before Windows asks for it?
  15. Well the Mods have every right to decide what they think is best for their board.
  16. Although I had no coasters with Easy CD Creator, I too have made the switch to Nero.
  17. All you need to do is update Easy CD with latest patch at: http://www.roxio.com/
