I read about some guy on another forum claiming that it doubled his download speed, Ya Right! I've done the same tweak with no gain except for another user folder called "Administrator".

I downloaded it too. It's basically the bare bones resource hack to enable MsStyles, but the wording of the text file sounds so discouraging for you to install it. Basically they're trying to glorify their Styles XP software and you're on your own with the resource hack.

While I was in the mall earlier I asked how much a G-Force 3 card was. The answer P 16,000 in my currency or $ 307 dollars.

Is that a free version of 3DMark you're using or is it the full version?

Everyone may have their own preferences, LCD or CRT, but after getting an LCD monitor there ain't no way I'm going back. I'm no gamer though, so I wouldn't know how gamers would feel.

It's safe to delete everything in the Temp folder. Stuff gets there from installing new programs etc., I delete stuff in there all the time with no adverse effects.

I installed the Nvidia drivers 23.11 and it caused my PC to suddenly reboot while surfing. Rolled back those crappy drivers. I bet those drivers will never be digitally signed by Microsoft. :mad:

That's why I'm hesitant to install drivers other than the native drivers that XP installs by itself.

It's funny how my new PC is so quiet. I thought that I would be getting loud fan noises but it's whisper quiet.

Get an optic mouse, maybe Logitech or Microsoft. I'm using a Samsung optic mouse, don't know if it's available in your area.

Well I tried windows update again earlier and I was able to get some driver updates but there were no XP updates listed. They're probably doing some maintenance on the site.

I don't know if people here have seen this before. It was posted in another forum. Check it out it's gggggrrreeaaattt!!!! Notice the small file size!

Reformatting before installing XP is the best way to go.
