I just finished using Bootvis on my P4 1.7ghz system. I now boot in 15 seconds as compared to 25 before.

I agree with Micropocalypse, besides Winrar is much better than Winzip.

Do you have Norton Internet Security 2002 installed? Have you checked Task Manager to see what is using up the CPU?

Has anyone had any difficulty accessing the Windows Update for XP? (using XP Corporate Version) The active-X installs, then scans for updates but after choosing them they don't download. Weird.

I've read somewhere that in order to accomplish that you need to edit the Boot.ini file. As to what exactly to edit in the file, I'm sorry I don't know.

That has never happened to me. I reformat a lot and whenever I go to the MS Update Site I am able to get the same stuff that I got before.

Actually babis is right, I should just download the latest version. Here's what happened, I reformatted my drive and installed an older version of Style-XP 4.0, it expired immediately upon installation! I guess they all have set expiration dates so going with the newest version will last the longest.

Why the need to delete it?

Lousy Style XP, I had version 4.1 on for less than a week. Today it expired on me! On start-up it prompted me to register, I didn't. Hello Window Blinds.

There is a version of Office XP Corporate, no activation.
