  1. Didn't happen with me either, using Devil's Own.
  2. Not sure of the points, but I'm for the [b:b295dc1627]RAMS![/b:b295dc1627]
  3. How exactly does it stall? Opening IE 6, or in displaying the whole front page of the site? It takes a while for me for the forum front page to display completely, but once it does everything else loads faster.
  4. It's probably Windows XP related.
  5. I'm using 120dpi on 1024x768
  6. Hey Blackwar, since when did you get a P4? I thought you had an AMD the last time?
  7. Heh-heh glad you liked it, I'll keep my eye open for some more!
  8. Found this on another board. It's hillarious! http://165.121.134.222/Track-07.MP3
  9. You can try out some of the cheaper screen filters just to see if they work for you. With my LCD I use one at night because the screen is too bright even if I lower the contast and brightness settings. I don't use it in the daytime though.
  10. After looking at this site http://www.ahead.de/en/incdinfo.htm it seems InCd is made by the same folks who make Nero. I haven't tried it though.
  11. I've tried WindowBlinds, I prefer the styles xp themes.
  12. I agree, 60hz it's the best setting eye-strain-wise.
  13. So did it accurately describe you?:assshake
  14. What is the ideal refresh rate for LCD monitors? With conventional CRT's I remember that 85hz up was easier on the eyes along with less dizziness/headaches. So when I got my LCD I would set it at the highest rate 75. It always seemed to tire my eyes faster than my CRT. By accident after a reformat, I left it at 60hz. I started wondering why I wasn't getting to eye-strained after a while and I remembered that I left it at 60hz! Anybody else with a similar eXPerience?
  15. http://www.colorgenics.com/ It gives a description of your personality based on your color preferences. It got mine right!
  16. I just did a reformat earlier and when I went to Windows Update, it offered me a Nvidia Driver Update 3.2mb. Since this is normally Microsoft Certified stuff that they offer here I chose it and it installed. After 5 minutes of using my PC, it suddenly reboots and tells me that serious errors were caused by the **** Nvidia driver. It was version 23.12 if I'm correct. So I rolled back those lousy drivers. Sigh... when will those detonator drivers ever amount to anything. :assblast
  17. That was a good investigation Sherlock Booger!
  18. Good one, gonna try that.
  19. Well there sure are a few Intel users here! I'm surprised no one has come up and said "it's because you guys arent using AMD!" LOL!

Try activating the built-in Windows Internet Connection Firewall, run it in tandem with Sygate (I've done that before they will work together) then take the port scan test again.
