  1. What is your OS? What kind of mouse option are in the control panel?
  2. I'm not familiar with this version (or SCCM) but is this one of those programs that makes the "this program has closed incorrectly" message in Windows 7?
  3. System Builder version of NAV2012 uses the same switches as above. Edited topic title again.
  4. Try to fully qualify the path to regedit.exe and reg.reg.
  5. It is unfortunate that by the time SP1 came out, so many people were scared off from Vista. I remember working with one particular client who was looking at switching to Vista but they couldn't get enough performance for their platform. So they shelved the project. When SP1 RTMed I tested it with their demo system and it was a lot faster. I told them but at that point they had gone to "waiting for Windows 7" or switch to Embedded mode.
  6. If these computers are designed to only run this one application and nothing else, then it would be an appliance. If this is the case, you should use Windows 7 Embedded.
  7. Cannibal Corpse - Return to Flesh
  8. What led you to conclude that downgrading the OS on the server would be your fix? Did you create a Server 2008 R2 domain functional level instead of one of the older types when you set it up?
  9. Juno Reactor - Angels and Men
  10. Well no one here could help you activate. Once you get your product key, you'll have to try to activate online and if that fails call the Activation Center.
  11. Wireless? Nice_Guy, verify for us you posted the correct picture that is not showing up. The picture you posted is the EULA that appears during Setup, which should be skipped by the SkipEula object in the WindowsPE pass. Or do you mean the EULA in OOBE (where the Wireless screen also appears) ?
  12. Do you have an operating system on the notebook now?
  13. I like the second one more, but those topic icons make the image kinda busy. It might be because they are clashing with the theme of the rest of the image, ie there are blues in there, etc.
  14. Corporate? You mean VLK?
  15. No disintegrations!
  16. Kool & The Gang - Open Sesame
  17. Well I'm not sure about mixing the "K-Mart-ian Legend" with MSFN... but maybe another term that defined my normal day to day activity here... Topic Mover
  18. Many projects have added Audio support. You can look at Make_PE3 as an example.
  19. I changed your topic title. You had this ability as well, but you would need to click "Use Full Editor" to get to the topic title. As far as XP, its a strange thing for me as I've never had to use any sort of MBR fixing tool to deploy an XP image.
  20. Did you try to adapt a Vista XML for Windows 7? Both SkipMachineOOBE and SkipUserOOBE are deprecated.
  21. 32bit can use more than one core, just like 64bit. As far as why you have 64bit, how much RAM is in your notebook?
  22. The only local policy setting I have changed is to disable the Protected Desktop, which my video card doesn't seem to like. As an Administrator account, usually the only program that requires elevation are the ones that have the shield on them. But even then, if you just did a double-click, it would prompt for elevation. The problem is with poorly written programs OR programs that were made before UAC was being used. In those cases, you may be able to discern a different between normal and elevated function. As a blanket rule that you should run EVERYTHING as Administrator is a bad idea. You should be familiar enough with your applications or installers to determine whether or not you need/want them to run elevated.
  23. Technical issues can be fun too!
  24. The validate tab on the bottom... WSIM is the program you make your XML in.
  25. I must have missed the part of the other post that mentions this being a SoftThinks creation. Agreed you can't "remaster" that disc but its because you don't have the tools. Even so, I don't think a CD can be redone even with the tools... but I've never tried to make a SoftThinks recovery CD/DVD before. Submix8c's idea is your best bet.
