  1. Ok so where does the wireless connection obtain its IP address from? If you have DNS configured, it should be in the DHCP cpl on the server. In Server Options, option 006 configures which DNS servers to send along when a client gets an IP from the server.
  2. Well gee, no I'm (apparently) the one living in the past, as I have no computer with a boot volume larger than 250GB... and that is only because I had to clone a failing drive and it was the smallest size available. My computer at home only has an 80GB drive for the OS.
  3. Well that's some free advertising huh. Why not just say use one of Nuhi's tools to integrate the application? Here is the section for NTLite: http://www.msfn.org/board/forum/177-ntlite/
  4. It is is, as you say, every time you install the software and reboot the software is removed... I would try to find what makes it remove itself. After installation, check in Task Scheduler and also in the registry under RunOnce/Ex to see if there is anything there to trigger the uninstall.
  5. When you are not using the wired connection, what do you do with it? Are the setting still set or have you disabled it?
  6. NoelC, you can boot GPT disk on BIOS using an MSI board and its hack-jobby 2.2TB+ Infinity UEFI emulation gizmo. http://reboot.pro/topic/16315-22tb-infinity-vs-uefi-with-winpe/
  7. SR209 seems to have a lock on the back by the PSU, SR105 does not. Do you know a way to tell other than measuring the dimensions?
  8. I guess it depends. The only one I have experience with is the Intel NUC... but then it only has an HDMI port and nothing else. :\
  9. I finally finished moving Shiva to a new chassis. The original was one I bought in the 20th century that had the over-the-top slip on "side panel" which I very much did not like. I had acquired a user server chassis (trash rescue) and decided to port everything over. My wire management may not be that great, but again I have made sure not to put wires in the fans. This is the Chenbro SR105. I had some time wasting trying to get the correct screws for the hard drive bay. Some perks to this over the old, now have a fan in the hard drive bay. Also I will have front panel USB! I do not have the correct sized fan for the rear exhaust, but it has enough screw hole to put in a smaller one. You can see dust on both the video and sound card, however it does not come off with the canned air. PSU fit nice without needing for an adapter plate. Need one more side panel thumb screw. The side panel is not in perfect shape, but it stays on. Also need to put in a black floppy drive. I have them but not handy. I have not turned it on yet! I hope it works! Will get the rest together on the upcoming weekend.
  10. Try logging in with another user account, preferrably one in the Administrators group, and see if they are still like that.
  11. The disk is mostly the same. Is there anything special about WPI that makes it so that integrating it requires special instructions vs how other applications get integrated?
  12. Keep yer beer goggles away from Cortana. Remember, she's not a real girl.
  13. Has the EULA for nLite been revised to allow for business use? Understanding that Embedded is not a consumer OS... I can't imagine that your Embedded Partner would support the editing of the install source.
  14. Take a look here: http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/158252-trace-why-windows-8-boots-shutsdown-or-hibernates-slowly/ Also tell us what notebook you have.
  15. This update may cause some Windows 7 installations to enter Notification Mode and display a messagebox informing that Windows was not Genuine. Removing the update seems to fix it.
  16. No need to delete this thread. We like to keep these types of things around as a reminder or example for others.
  17. My first guess is that the folder's name is the delete character, ALT+255. In Windows 98, you could create a folder with the delete and only be able to access it from the command prompt. Trying to enter it from Explorer would result in a "folder does not exist" message. Explorer starting with XP has been able to enter a folder with this name... so if that is the case you should be able to get to it. Do you get an error when you try to open it from Explorer?
  18. Are you trying to install IE7 from a standalone installer or from Windows Update? Have you done any fiddling with the registry, such as that method to make Windows Update think that XP is an Embedded OS?
  19. Tihiy and BigMuscle get new forums in Member Contributed Projects!

  20. Split out this whole discussion out of the original AeroGlass thread, as promised.
  21. Your posts have been merged. See this part of rule 2a: Rather than replying to your own reply (within 24 hours), edit your previous post instead to add additional information.
  22. In the Task Scheduler Library, you can select the appropriate task on the top and then look on the History tab. It allows you to see the success or failure of a task in an Event Viewer type look.
  23. Now see, you said browsers don't matter. As a matter of testing, it does. If you can provide some browser versions, others might be able to see. And give some link examples so we can go there and see what could be the problem.
  24. Reboot.pro is giving me Bad Gateway error today.
  25. I am aware, My1, however your link was readily available for quoting.
