  1. LOL your sense of humour is incorrigible!
  2. AFAIK, iso9660 images (what you got) are usable for both optical disk formats. So there would be no specific "dvd-compliant" ISO. Its the same ISO to burn on CD and DVD. Only, size would matter.
  3. LOL, most of its long time users might say That's how prominent its become. (no offense toward you meant, just illustrating how those who normally use it well would think, when they see that someone exists at all, who doesn't know of it). Well, benners' post above already gives the non-humorous side of things....
  4. @l33t- Cool info, thanx for sharing with us.. Useful for home users who won't have access to corp. editions (atleast, not legally ). I don't suppose this method is warez since it falls in the same category as hacking dxsetup.exe to allow silent install.
  5. You skipped reading the rules (while registering), or read it too fast, maybe? Rule 1 says:
  6. Heck, here's what ends it all.... LOL
  7. ****!!!!!! The issue is still being blown out of proportion. This isn't like a field day for unlicensed users, there's more logic behind it. See my post above...
  8. LOL, won't be long with MSFN's help, before you reach that stage - don't worry.
  9. Yes, it does have some problems with XPSP2 - you've got to use the latest update - which is available only to SAV9 CE. So move to it.... SP2 updatings Let's get back on topic please....
  10. Now you crack me up again.... How can mazin be the one keeping the guest waiting, and be the guest himself?
  11. See "Setup.htm" in the root of the office CD, it gives more info about switches and setup properties.
  12. Wow !!! this one's bringing out all the DLL geniuses... keep it coming, dudes.
  13. Yes, there is - that's what people who got betas of it via P2P networks said (no discussion of details to that, please...). You didn't really think Symantec was sitting quiet for such a long time after releasing v10, did you?
  14. LOL, this confirmation is being given for the nth time.... So let me add in my own part - WMP9, and WMM2.1 as well are included in SP2.
  15. OMG !!! Hey, but that's still insufficient for me.... How about _just_ 300 TB/sec?
  16. Not necessary to remove the MS-JVM before using Sun's, but still you will do well to remove it. Also, if you are using win2k or XP slip-streamed with the latest service packs, the JVM is already gone.
  17. Wraith, buddy.... Just see that it doesn't implode.
  18. @XtremeMaC- His age? He has this in his previous posts....(see member's all posts). Let's see if he wants to really reveal those details here - ya might like to give customized advice (as you already have). @mazin calm down, he just seems to have got the feeling that you were against him - the language barrier you know.... - what we mean to be good-hearted fun starts to look offensive.... @rupert86 What exactly do you want out of discussion in this thread? :S You want to "patao" her, or do you want to know what might be the things happening happening behind the scenes (in her mind) ? Or anything else? calm down ... Also, all these _large_ replies you see to your post, aren't here to make fun of you/anybody. Just look around the forums and see - not many topics/people have such large replies as this topic has. We are all your friends, and are only trying to help you. I suppose the reason you posted your query here, in the first place, was to know from others' knowledge/experience as to what the situation (in regard to her) really is. So each member is giving well-meaning advice to you, which you shouldn't interpret as insults or anything....
  19. You were right in thinking that, he just suggested what he thought would solve the requested problem. See here for a full list/explanation of hotfix switches - MS official.
  20. I don't any! I just let them all be - 'coz it might cause problems later on, and anyway your installed app will capture the file extension (zip for winrar) for itself.
  21. Open up your box and see your MoBo. PCI-E is going to be like those (white, large) PCI slots that you have already - only, smaller, faster and better.
  22. crahak here on the forums solved it nicely. So thread fulfilled.
  23. @crahak You are my saviour, I asked this question ages ago, and no one's known what to do about it yet! disable CIEP in Office Hey dudes, there's a similar irritating "customer experience ------" infobar with Windows Messenger 4.7.3000 (WXP SP2) as well. Any ideas how to disable it there as well?
  24. http://www.intel.com/design/software/drive...atform/845g.htm Those are the official drivers from intel for win2k/xp, and the same ones to be used for svr2k3. Windows might give you a prompt about the drivers not having been "Authenticode" signed or something, but tell it to go ahead. Also, do this on a test machine, so no problems are caused if something goes wrong. Don't use DataCenter Edition on a normal PC or laptop. Use WS2k3 std. edition - its all that those specs can handle.
