AFAIK, iso9660 images (what you got) are usable for both optical disk formats. So there would be no specific "dvd-compliant" ISO. Its the same ISO to burn on CD and DVD. Only, size would matter.

Not necessary to remove the MS-JVM before using Sun's, but still you will do well to remove it. Also, if you are using win2k or XP slip-streamed with the latest service packs, the JVM is already gone.

Windows might give you a prompt about the drivers not having been "Authenticode" signed or something, but tell it to go ahead. Also, do this on a test machine, so no problems are caused if something goes wrong. Don't use DataCenter Edition on a normal PC or laptop. Use WS2k3 std. edition - its all that those specs can handle.
