  1. Hi again! I finally got all drivers for my laptop (HP Pavilion dv6325ea) and Windows XP: I used "Driver Genius Professional", that it is a GREAT program: it connected by itself to internet and downloaded every updated driver I needed. I highly recommend you use it if you have the same problem I had.
  2. Hi! Whenever I generate my final Windows XP Unattended CD using nLite, the "unattend.txt" file dissappears from the "I386" folder on the harddisk when I extracted the original CD, and it doesn't appear at the compiled disk generated by nLite. I wanted to use nLite ONLY to integrate SATA drivers into Windows XP SP2 Corporate CD, but since the program has a lot of interesting options, finally I decided to use them all; so my nLite project has all possible options except for "Insert Service Pack"... I thought the "unattend.txt" file dissappeared because of the "unattend installation" option in nLite, but I tried by changing it to different values, but nothing changed. Any idea of why this file dissappears? Maybe is it renamed? Or not used in an unattend installation? Or maybe its contents are copied to some other file and read by the setup from this new file? Thanks!
  3. Hi, friends! I got here looking for help desesperately. I bought three days ago a HP dv6325ea laptop with Intel Core Duo 1,73GHz, 2 Gbytes RAM, 120 Gbytes HD and a lot of extras included (remote control, webcam, 5-1 card reader....). It came with Windows Vista pre-compilled (not installed) ON A FRESH PARTITION, so when you install the OS, it is using the D: partition as boot "CD"; none of the recovery CD/DVDs came in the pacakge, do I did myself those disks using HP utility "Recovery Manager" (pre-installed with Vista). As I am a logic person, I hated Vista just when I began working with it and decided to install Windows XP. During install, I deleted the recovery partition as I already had my own recovery disks, but after installation, I couldn't find anywhere drivers suitable for Windows XP for SATA drive, 5-1 card reader, wireless adaptor, LAN adaptor and so; HP doesn't provide them either so I decided to get them myself looking for some other model of HP Pavilion which had the same hardware mine has.. But I can't see anywhere in the manuals the manufacturers of the devices. I can't install Windows Vista to see it at the Device Manager since THE RECOVERY DISKS ARE CORRUPTED!! So the only solution to this problem is that somebody could tell me the model numbers of every device on the laptop, or tell me which HP model have a compatible hardware. Could anybody help me, please?
