The cause of having those files copied is indeed because of enabling the KtD setting. I suggest you read again what KtD exactly does! That redownloaded DriverPack Graphics B should indeed do the trick! That Synaptic driver is not yet in one of the official DriverPacks, check the sticky with unofficial ones for one that has it. That incorrectly sound driver is surely possible: if an exact driver match isn't found, Windows searches for the best possible alternative. But I'll check Samsung's site for the correct driver and I'll include it in the next update of DriverPack Sound B. For that not yet installed modem: you should also check the sticky for an unofficial modem DriverPack. If you want to create your own small DriverPacks, that possible, check this tutorial for that matter.

DriverPacks.net is behind a DDoS-preventing Cisco firewall now. It blocks all IPs that are known to be requesting an awful amount of pages. So if you're behind a proxy that has just ONE user that's part of the DDoS attack, that proxy will be blocked. There are only two solutions: either renew your IP or surf through another proxy...

I need the HWID indeed! If you could also tell me which motherboard you're using... ? That might be helpful too.

And what hardware configuration is that? Please post your HWIDs too!

You're right when you say there've been alot of problems related to the nVidia nForce chipset drivers, but now they are solved (well, for 99% of the cases). The goal itself of the DriverPacks are to provide an easy-to-implement method to create a UNIFORM UWXPCD, i.e. an UWXPCD that would install on any hardware! So yes, it will work!

Of course. The only thing the KtD option does, is keeping the drivers after Windows has been installed: the drives will be available as Plug 'n Play drivers in Windows by default!

I think I've figured out how to get it installed silently but I cannot test it. You'll have to let me know if it's working for you in DriverPack Graphics B V6.02 & DriverPacks BASE V6.02.1!
