  1. <complete explanation removed: it was wrong> It should be working as it is right now! You must be doing something wrong. Are you sure the driver does not get installed? Are you sure the controller was connected properly to your motherboard AND correctly set up before you began the Windows XP installation?
  2. Ehm.... That driver is IDENTICAL to the one in D\M\H\1! And it's also the one assigned to your HWID. That means setup is selecting the wrong driver... Could you please do this for me: -Boot from the installation CD that has my DriverPacks slipstreamed -See what driver gets loaded ('hpt3xx' or 'ahpt3xx' or 'rhpt3xx') -Tell me which one got loaded -I can solve the problem
  3. Are you using an XPized system?
  4. Crap First I thought: what an id***, why couldn't he link straight to the **** thing???! Then I realized... Good one!
  5. Could you please post your HWID quotee? If you don't, I won't be able to create a work-around for this issue!
  6. This has now been truly fixed: your nasty work-around is no longer necessary! Problem solved, topic closed.
  7. awtch looked over that Well, it seems your HWID is IDENTICAL to an undocumented HWID that can be found on the SiI3114r controller of the Tyan Tiger K8W (S2875) motherboard. I decided to remove that HWID in favor of yours: yours will be used more frequently and it's possible that's there a more elegant solution for the Tyan Tiger K8W's SiI3114r controller... This is not really a solution, but there's no other option... This means your problem should be fixed. I'll keep this topic open for you to confirm the result. (the fixed version hasn't been released yet)
  8. Before I can fix this issue, I need access to the correct driver. And on Gigabyte's site I cannot find the HPT370 driver that should be necessary for your motherboard. In fact, I cannot even find that your controller IS PRESENT on that motherboard! Are you sure 'Gigabyte GA K8NSC-939' is the correct name for your motherboard?
  9. Please post the HWID of your HighPoint RocketRAID 464 controller! I need that HWID before I can add support for this controller to DriverPack MassStorage! You can find a tool to find that HWID in my signature.
  10. It seems this is yet another shared HWID! This HWID is already supported, but it only supports the HighPoint RocketRAID 154x/1640 Controllers and NOT yours (HPT374 UDMA/ATA133 RAID Controller). I'll have to implement a work-around in order to get them both working simultaneously. It's good that you provided your HWID right away: now I can implement the work-around right away! EDIT: Work-around implemented. Request implemented, topic closed!
  11. Solution implemented in the next version of DP MassStorage, topic closed. If the problem persists, please open a new topic.
  12. This is an ancient topic - if anyone has some problems in the future, please start a new topic! Topic closed.

  14. @Drama: my apologies for the EXTREMELY long delay, but finally I've worked through everything else, and now I'm working on the DP MassStorage update. That's how I noticed this topic and saw that after months your problem still remains unresolved. The key to the solution is YOUR HWID. Check my sig for a tool!

  16. Note that this is the Quadro driver, not the GeForce driver! This driver will be included in DriverPack Graphics B.
  17. I didn't count in VERY old systems . (That's a Palomino core, right?) My apologies for that miscalculation .
  18. Very well! Problem solved, topic closed.

  22. That folder should not exist... It's probably just a mistake. Please check if those missing files do exist in the I386 folder.
