  1. How did you add those DriverPacks afterwards? Probably you did something wrong. I suggest you reslipstream the DriverPacks and that does NOT involve starting your UWXPCD from scratch! The DriverPacks BASE has the ability to remove old entries and such: you can even switch methods if you want to. P.S.: method 2 is the best, method 3 is only there for the few of us that really want/need it.
  2. Double post: not necessary. Yelling: not necessary. Please stick to MSFN's forum rules! The reason why the size slightly increased instead of decreased is simple: you chose the lowest compression method, you'll have to choose one of the heaviest to have *SOME* result. Depending on your computer, recompressing all DriverPacks should take about 25 to 45 minutes.
  3. Indeed... could you tell us what problems you have?
  4. Then I totally agree with your wife!
  5. Thanks Nakatomi2010, for your thorough testing and the very detailed post. The same thing was told to me earlier this week by muiz, so you've confirmed it! This problem should be fixed in DriverPack MassStorage V6.02 (which might be released this weekend).
  6. I've been meaning to say this earlier, but this post made me remember it again: I admire your English language... In almost every post you write - well, every one that's related to RealTek, nVidia, ADI (SoundMAX) or whatever crappy brand (in short: in every post in which you express your anger) - there's AT LEAST one magnificent image, in this one it's the 'you could have knocked me over with a feather when it worked properly'. It just makes me smile, then grin, then laugh . Just to let you know ;-) Back ontopic: I was hoping Dumpy Dooby (funny nickname BTW ) could specify his problem... So, let us know, Dumpy Dooby!!!
  7. I know, I just forgot to add it! I'll update it this weekend...
  8. Request implemented, topic closed.
  9. Request implemented, topic closed.
  10. This one required yet another work-around to allow the custom ATI SiI3112r driver - which could previously be used as a universal driver - to be used at the same time. Request implemented, topic closed.
  11. Thanks, 5eraph! Request implemented, topic closed.
  12. I updated the SiI 3132r5 driver to 03/31/2005, 1.2.3.1 to 01/12/2006, 1.4.3.0, a version that's newer than the version you requested. Request implemented, topic closed.
  13. BTS DriverPacks BASE V6.02.2 Changelog: V6.02.2 (15 Feb 06) -Fixed: [DPB]: the ATI CCC (and the SiS control panel) will not be CABbed anymore when using method 1 (this prevented them from being installed). -Updated: [DPB]: Installation_Instructions.htm: updated the final sizes for DriverPacks Graphics A and B when using method 1. Download Known issues -none
  14. Maybe you should let us know what device that is?
  15. what did u say? all Driverpacks ( Chipset, CPU, LAN, MassStorage, Graphics A, Graphics B, Sound A, Sound B & WLAN ) compressed to 10mb, can u send it to my yahoo account or send me a download link? Ehm... That would be a compression ratio of 90:1... And there are almost 100MB of executables included in that 900MB I estimate and you know (or probably you won't) that executables are almost uncompressable
  16. They've both already been included, but the RAID5 one you linked too is an updated version, so I'll update it in the next release...
  17. That's related to DriverPack MassStorage.
  18. Well... you must be doing something wrong. If it WAS a bug, it would have shown up a while ago (the core code of the DPs BASE hasn't been touched the last 2 or 3 months). PLUS other users (more experienced ones, NOF) would experience these problems too! Read the guide once more
  19. @larciel: I was thinking and thinking and thinking and... I *KNEW* I had forgotten something. It's that! I'll update it this weekend: it's an easy one! @muiz: I haven't changed anything about it... :s
  20. And don't forget to steal the source code for me, so I can release it tomorrow...
  21. In the future, you will be able to select drivers you wish to integrate and select drivers you wish to exclude. But that's not for very soon.
  22. Could somebody attach that file here?
  23. DriverPack Additions should be updated... DPs Chipset, Graphics A and B have been updated and they include the requested drivers of DP Additions!
