  1. Well SP1 integration, which is hidden in the vLite and will remain like that until fully working, works so that it gets the new packager files from the SP1 itself and then you integrate it like a hotfix. But I get some registry index error at the very end after the 20-30min of integration :\ If someone knows the solution that would be great.
  2. I don't have an exact list, I would gladly give it to you.
  3. Probably not vLite related, you could have forgotten something like the wrong jack, cable issue, maybe even wrong/different driver. But you never know, keep us updated.
  4. Are you saying that those failed ones are actually integrated, they didn't fail after the install? edit: check this http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?s=&amp...st&p=686994 fixed in next version.
  5. I presume you're using the AIO (or any other all in one) version, I will have to adapt it again to it but that's basically non-standard Vista edition and it's not a priority.
  6. Clint, I missed you.
  7. Haven't finished that test, but it was at least half of them so you better not even start with it until fixed.
  8. Nope, haven't played with the themes since I like Aero as it is.
  9. If you removed HP printer drivers try keeping them (just them). Also if it worked with the full Vista they are probably using parts of the built-in driver, nothing new there.
  10. Why does it say Target = Windows Vista ULTIMATE 32-bit and you talk about the 64-bit updates? Also that part "with patches till august", don't you have a clean installation DVD or an ISO?
  11. Yeah fixed in the next one. Just select Enable before Apply until then.
  12. Yeah, only problem is that during integration it depends on MS integration routines, so lets hope they make it multi threaded. What I will eventually upgrade is processing and component removal which can take long on 64bit installation files.
  13. About WMP, looks like you removed the codecs and left only the program. Nothing else can cause that as far as I know. Never heard about that issue with gadgets, maybe someone else will reply. About the folder vLite doesn't change anything, it could be UAC related, try to turn it on or vice versa.
  14. First the things that are biggest or I need to disable after every install aka not needed or requested many times.
  15. See from nLite, it should be the same give or take. And even there isn't over. I don't keep a list, it's all in the moment.
  16. Did you disable some services after installation, like BITS or something?
  17. Cool, thanks. Have you tried the default DEP setting?
  18. Don't worry guys. I'm slowly fixing and will pick up the pace soon because it was (lazy and too hot) summer, I have some exams and vLite needed some help for liftoff.
  19. Reboot and try again.

    Updating Vista

It's not very clear what is the problem, you sound like you never used vLite before and I know you did. Maybe it's that Kernel update integration issue.
  21. vLite will do it all for you, just select Unattended page.
  22. It doesn't ask for a JMicron drivers, it (probably) asks for the RAID drivers. I use ICH8 in the AHCI setting for a single SATA drive and it doesn't need any additional drivers that way. Drivers integrated are in the install.wim image, while you need them integrated into the boot.wim image as well. I will support that in some of the next versions.
  23. For the future this is the vLite forum, not xIntegrator Promotion forum.
  24. Aa no, vLite still doesn't support textmode (boot) driver integration. You can integrate them and they will be installed but only during setup, not before to bypass that boot message. I have ICH8 and it is supported by the Vista by default, I presume you have some Asus board. Also use DVD RW or virtual machines for testing.
  25. Well only problem is slipstream, they will release slipstreamed version so I believe we could request a new DVD from MS or something. If someone, including me, manages to integrate SP1, great, if not we will simply silently install it, I can do that any time, problem is longer install time and more space taken.
