First make sure you're integrating 32bit driver for 32bit Windows, if you integrate 64 into 32 the error will be something like that. Then be sure it's the clean installation, not some tweaked with older nlite or something. And most importantly the option OEM Preinstall on the Unattended page. Disable that option if you boot from floppy, enable it if you'll integrate the driver and not use the floppy.

Because some user may want some particular order, or date was false (day/month/year, sometimes there is year/month/day or similar). Addons also have manually written date, it can be anything. Addon for IE may want to be pushed after the new hotfixes even if the addon is older.

I had that error too few times, in my case once it didn't detect that the medium wasn't writeable, or corrupted. Try some RW and erase it before usage. But also if it doesn't work again then just create ISO with nLite and burn the ISO with some other program, like Nero - Recorder - Burn Image

vLite language pack integration works just fine, now why your failed I still don't know, downloaded the pack and will try it when the time comes. Did you remove the same stuff both times even after doing manual integration? (or you don't remove anything ever?) Kels, it will integrate as it sees it in the Hotfix page, top to bottom. Click once on the Build Date header and it will sort properly. I am planning to warn user on exiting that page to do it. Thunderboy, I don't get it, what did you say? Btw this "issue" is just the fact that ms named the hotfixes so that the alphabetically when you insert them they are not well sorted, nothing weird there, just click on the build date header.

My ie7 hotfixes all have ie7 in the filename. Anyway be careful to sort hotfixes by the build date (click on the column header by that name). From top being the oldest.
