  1. OK, thanks. Didn't appear for me, but I'll include it anyway.
  2. ...but are yet to update your signature. OK, but are you planning to include it on your Windows XP list? I guess my question is 'does it appear on Windows Update?' You said Windows Update downloads a certain version, but I've never seen it on there. Are you referring to the Update Catalog?
  3. Yes, this problem occurs for me too. The file was in Unicode as Tomcat76 suggested, so I had to replace the copy and modify it myself later. That should be the only issue with your program.
  4. Thanks for the info. Is the one for Windows XP a recommended update?
  5. OK, your site works again . Any chance you can update your WLM installer? I know I can edit it myself, but I'm too lazy.
  6. Wow, Tomcat! You've introduced a number of errors in these here test releases! Gotta be more careful there...hehe.
  7. OK, so there is a newer version! That's what glentium told me in the other thread. OK, I will update that list soon.
  8. Writing switches immediately to the right of the command does not always cause a problem, although I did find that with one particular command it doesn't work. For all others, I have had no issue with it. IIRC = If I recall correctly...
  9. Final version is out for 8.1 (see MSFN home page). I didn't have time to read through the rest of this thread, so I apologize if this has been answered already. Is your repository down, Shark007? I haven't been able to access either link for quite a while now.
  10. Oops, sorry about that, Tomcat! Guess I haven't been reading the release notes thoroughly enough. That, or my memory is failing me.
  11. Shoot, I never got the chance to test this. Can you put the code in a separate test release, Tomcat?
  12. Please post your HFSLIP.LOG file as you were directed.
  13. I can verify Kiki's findings. After xper said it worked, I checked it and it was solved, but seems the problem has popped up again.
  14. There must be a newer version of that update. I'll redownload it when I get home to check. Thanks!
  15. I included both the IE7 executable and KB929969 in HF, and I'm installing it from GUIRunOnce. This is odd. My source does not require activation (it's a volume-license), but when I install from SVCPACK, I encounter the three issues you listed on hfslip.org (or at least the one in User Accounts). I've started to install it from GUIRunOnce, and all those problems are gone.
  16. (1) You are correct that there are two versions. WindowsXP-KB929969-x86-ENU.exe applies ONLY to Internet Explorer 6 SP2. IE7-KB929969-WindowsXP-x86-enu.exe is exclusively for Internet Explorer 7 on Windows XP. (2) Yes, you must reboot after installing IE7, then install that update. Since IE7 is being integrated, I'm not quite sure how support is being given. Tomcat76 is currently working on a fix for KB928089, the other IE7 hotfix. I am looking into KB929969 on one of my installations to see if it was properly slipstreamed. (3) Right now, IE7 is not slipstreamable. There are just too many problems/issues with the package. Even when it's installed from SVCPACK, there are three known caveats. So far, GUIRunOnce seems to be the best way to go. Tomcat76 said he would look into this again when he has more time and/or when Microsoft decides to fix its many shortcomings. How does nLite take care of it? Update: KB929969 worked perfectly on my installation.
  17. It probably is possible, but you're asking in the wrong forum. This is only for HFSLIP-related issues. Since you're looking for an addon, post in the Application Add-ons section.
  18. I just tested this with the default options and everything works perfectly.
  19. Removing KB928029 seems to have solved it. Is there any way to have HFSLIP support this?
  20. Sorry about the long delay. List updated for January fixes.
