  1. Tomcat: It's extract.exe, not expand.exe.
  2. Which OS are you slipstreaming? For Windows XP, you can find extract.exe in SUPPORT.CAB on the installation CD. For 2000 and 2003, you can find it here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310618/. The actual file is located in the BIN folder. By the way, some addons are not supported by HFSLIP or simply don't work. It is up to the addon maker to make sure their addons work properly. Garbage in, garbage out.
  3. John: You must place a copy of Microsoft's extract.exe (NOT EXPAND.EXE) in the HFTOOLS folder.
  4. New WGA again - 1.5.0532.0 I tried the link Tomalak provided above (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=39204), however it still provided 1.5.0530.0. Does this mean MS has yet to update it or did the link change? Sorry, but the reports I received about a new WGA seem to have turned out false. I revalidated Windows, but MS did not update my DLL file. Did anyone else get a new version?
  5. Kramy: I do not believe any ELSE fix was required. In all of the original code for the :HFSPACK4 section (60527c), the ELSE commands were on the same line as the corresponding IF commands. If the problem you are experiencing is indeed an HFSLIP script problem, I guess Tomcat must have gone too crazy with the cleanup .
  6. wela! Seems to be a mistake on FDV's part (HTML coding). He linked both lines to the same file. Here's the correct file: http://www.vorck.com/data/hfcleanup.zip
  7. Camarade_Tux: Based on the info I read, 833989 is not for XP SP1a.
  8. *This post is no longer updated* For the most recent hotfixes, please refer to this thread. 9. The redirect link always points to the right location so I guess I should keep a note of that from now on .
  10. I don't think the %SYSROOT% variable exists anyway.
  11. There shouldn't be a problem with MP10Setup.exe in HFSVCPACK_SW as far as I know. I remember in February or March when there was a problem with it and we spent about two weeks trying to fix it.
  12. @mystek To download KB892130, refer to Tomcat76's update list, or click here. To download KB905474 (FOR XP ONLY), click here. Place KB892130 in HFCABS and KB905474 in HF (you may delete the serial number in the filename) to slipstream. Edit: KB910437 is not new! It is listed on Tomcat's update list. Edit #2: There is a new version of KB892130 (Windows Genuine Advantage, LegitCheckControl.dll) - 1.5.0530.0. The link I provided above (crossed out) is for 1.5.0526.0. Looking for updated link...
  13. Electrician: You missed a letter on "delete"!
  14. Kramy: Yes, HFSVCPACK_SW is for installers that require /Q:A /R:N switches.
  15. What exactly does the ENABLEDELAYEDEXPANSION thing do?
  16. Welcome to the HFSLIP forums, expediter01! Regarding the KB913580 issue, make sure you do not have KB902400 in HF as the former supersedes the latter. Try burning the image onto CD using the attached command-line tool (from Microsoft). I have a feeling though that this won't resolve anything. There's probably an *easy* solution to solving your STOP ERROR problem, but I am not too familiar with that. Someone else here like Tomcat76 will be able to help. cdburn.exe
  17. heisking: Can you attach your log file or tell us the directory/file structure of your HFEXPERT folders? The sifdir variable is part of the HFEXPERT script section in HFSLIP. However, it is not supposed to be added to TXTSETUP.SIF, of course. There may be something wrong with the structure of your folders.
  18. No, Siginet never posted a Beta 2. We need to wait for Beta 4.
  19. SP3 should be released in second half of 2007 (if Microsoft stops delaying it!). That is, of course, after November 14, 2006.
  20. Here is detailed information about the HFAAO directory (posted by Tomcat)! HFAAO - Application Addon packs
  21. Delprat: I didn't know that you were looking for the URLs specific to our topic. I just linked to the main page of each.
