  1. That's great! Silly Microsoft...releasing the good version after a month
  2. @retalv, please read further in the forum! http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=86772 It's already a known issue.
  3. FYI A few of the IE7 binaries were changed recently and the installation package was rereleased yesterday. Note: The version is still the same (7.0.5730.11).
  4. Hmmm...something happened to the topic's title - it's now Hfslip.
  5. Updated again for KB924191 (v2).
  6. Sorry about the confusion. Thanks, glentium and Tomcat ! Updated .
  7. Since Tomcat advised us to remove MSXML3, I have a feeling it's no longer needed, but I may be wrong.
  8. You are absolutely right about KB918899. In fact, I'll be removing all those IE updates in a few days because they only apply to IE6 for now! I'm not sure about KB924191. MS06-071 (KB928088) says that it replaces MS06-061, which is KB924191.
  9. Updated for November changes. Please note that Windows Media Player 10 has been removed. Super P.S. Please let me know if I missed something .
  10. Updated for November changes. Super P.S. Please let me know if I missed something .
  11. You should slow down there, Tomcat!
  12. @Tomcat76, you should read my post. Of course, you'll need the tab bar to be there already.
  13. I'm pretty sure Camarade_Tux meant 'integrated'. To go home, click the Home button to the right of the tabs ! If you want the Menu bar back, right-click on a blank portion of the tab bar and left-click on 'Menu Bar'.
  14. @X-Ecutioner, I've heard reports that Vista and Office 2007 are already available on MSDN.
  15. @LLXX, that is not true. Microsoft is releasing all versions on a single DVD. The key you use will determine the version.
  16. @cid2k, please use the latest HFSLIP final, version 1.0.1, from the stickied thread. HFSLIP_60810 does not provide support for many of the hotfixes you have included. All your troubles should be solved with the newer version .
  17. Sorry I haven't been here lately or been able to test RC8. I've had a lot going on. Are you almost done with RC9?
  18. What is this 'check' to which you are referring?
  19. OK, just remember that there's no discussion of WGA circumvention on this forum.
  20. We appreciate your help, AlBundy33, but HFSLIP is a program for slipstreaming hotfixes, not integrating them. There are tons of programs out there for that, like nLite, plus the method you describe. We already know of the SVCPACK method, but thanks anyway. If you want to integrate Internet Explorer 7, it's easy enough to add it to SVCPACK and run the setup file with the /passive /norestart switches (or, if you prefer a completely silent installation, use /quiet /norestart). Of course, you can also create a silent switchless installer.
  21. Yay! Thanks for the new version, Tomcat. Edit: Is the coding for WMP11 in 61104a finished yet?
  22. If you would read the instructions for Windows XP PowerPacker and ask good questions (like you have in your sig) by brushing up on your spelling/grammar, you wouldn't have this problem.
  23. I don't know if this was intended or not, but the date in the ISO name is wrong. For example, today, it gave me the name XPVOL1_032006_20h27m.iso. Shouldn't it be 110306 or 031106?
  24. @pdxrob: Both of the changes you are requesting have already been requested previously. 1. It would be best not to discuss this publicly as it is NOT A SUPPORTED FEATURE. Please PM me for details. 2. glentium started a discussion about such an implementation. However, the authors haven't reached much of a consensus on it or discussed it much.
  25. @Tomalak: Tomcat means he can't call the executable and extract anything from it.
