  1. hi squeeto! fix should do the trick ... but to refresh your memory ... you modifype'd it he! he!
  2. woud have joined the fray too ... but too late! he! he! crayoxide their answer is PERFECT!
  3. he! he! i was just looking at 1.0.2 & then a few minutes after i noticed it's already 1.0.3 ... finalizing integration (?) of ie& & wmp11 would be great ... thanks!
  4. thanks jcarle! it's just that it doesn't happen while viewing all posts then hitting back ...
  5. this could serve as your reference Camarade_Tux
  6. hi silverf0x! before using it on a real system, always try it 1st on virtual machine ... i suggest for now, you try to install using the original cd that was shipped together with your system ... for now you might be in an endless loop there ...
  7. hi! i don't know if this is a limitation or might be something else but when i opt for viewing topics i replied to ... then reading on 1 ... then opting to go back (hitting Back) to the same index (where it displays all the topics i replied to), it always tells me that page has expired ... & i always have to refresh the page ... is it really like this? thanks!
  8. hi luish! the default language of your cd is what is always used upon installation ... i may be mistaken but when you get to the language settings (unattended section in nLite), you may try to change it to english ...
  9. hi all! ... (pardon me studguy1 if i quoted you ... i could actually quote others ... but yours is more convenient ) since there seems to a little confusion about the 2 terms ... even different websites use these terms interchangeably ... what are the differences truly? there may be differences in usage here ... what probably makes it confusing too is the use of /integrate command-line switch for the Update.exe program ... as an aside too, perhaps a distinction between what our HFSLIP does either differently or similarly with other programs (i.e., nLite, RVM integrator)from our very own hfslip.org ... from another source would it also help (... or it doesn't matter ) if svcpack installation vs run once is touched?CONFUSING??? he! he!
  10. hi virtlink! have you tried uninstalling nLite & reinstalling it? might likewise help if you recreated your directories (fresh source) ... when nLite crashes on me that i what i do & more often than not, it gets resolved
  11. any chance of having checked OOBE in items to remove?
  12. cracked OS? you're kidding, right?

    dotnet3

hi! now that dotnet3 final is out, would HFSLIP support it just like it did to the previous versions? just asking ... ... maybe not! he! he! thanks!
  14. hi nuhi! nLite is targetted for personal/home use, right? would use for non-profit organization be allowed?
  15. glad to hear that! which ver did you use?
  16. hi cid2k! try to see if your hotfixes are in TC's or the_guy's list in the stickied post section ... you have quite a long list here ... remove those not in their list ... you might want to try the latest final (version 1.0.1) or the latest test release (hfslip-61104a) for better support to the latest hotfixes ...
  17. hi canucker! might be 1 of the addons causing probs with your txtsetup.sif ...
  18. hi immolo! it's in the tweaks page ...
  19. using nLite makes those screens disappear ... set SFC to disabled (it is enabled by default) ... you may delete .CAT files too using HFSLIP (with the mentioned modified files) is another great way of doing it ...
  20. hi Ast! try using add-ons from http://www.ryanvm.net/msfn/ ... personally, i use aserone's add-on
  21. hi RaVeWiThMe! i think i know which cds you are talking about ... your pc vendor in most likelihood did not send you anymore an OS cd since there is an image in your hdd for PC restore ... likewise, there is a utility to create those SRCDs (system recovery discs) that you can run from your system too ... i would suggest you call them & request for it (that is if you did not receive 1)
  22. hi frozndevl! Windows is built that way ... as per MS ... you said you have already figured a way to do so but just in case yuo have not come accross this yet (this uses modified files), allow me to quote Fred Vorck: ... this info was very helpful! ... to add, deleting .cat files is likewise doable via nLite ...
  23. hi ZeReZeK! the native language of your OS cd would always be the default when you get to the unattended section of nLite ... you can try specifying it from there ...
  24. thanks Oleg ... i've yet to try this ... when i have my own pc up & running again ... feel like being in the dark ages without it ... he! he!
  25. thanks clintb! Oleg (TP/TC) if such is the case, i have a few related queries: (1) samples above make use of nvidia ... what about for ati? (2) strange as it may seem, but for XP i just let the OS do its own thing for display resolution ... but when i try to update it using newer downloaded drivers from either nvidia or ati, it shows an error & cannot proceed with the update ... what could be the cause for this & how could this be remedied? thanks!
