I just installed Aurora Pack to give it a look. I liked what I saw except for the boot screen. And isnt it ironic that Darkside has the more Vista-like boot screen? EDIT 1: I have two questions: 1. When selecting the components to install, there are several items that begin with bt. What do they modify? 2. I used HFSLIP to replace calc, notepad and taskmgr; Aurora Pack wont modify them correct? EDIT 2: Under System Properties > Computer Name, it looks like you overlooked the computer icon

The description for the SystemBoosterXP installer says its a self-extracting installation program though Universal Extractor has trouble with it. I try it and Universal Extractor gives me this message: the resulting file is corrupt (not a valid win32...)

@Major - any chance you could make a Nero Lite Micro eqivalent? While downloading R3, I just noticed it was ~39 MB and I dont use teh toolkit, cover designer, or wave editor anyways. TIA

I installed this over Nero Lite 7.7.5.1 and my settings were not kept. Is this normal? Also no icons/shortcust for Nero Express?

the screensaver that XPize installs doesnt work on Server 2003. Is there anyway to force compatibility or maybe you can include a compatible screensaver?

since i am on a different computer, i uninstalled darkside to reproduce the problem. now my bootscreen is completely blank (black). heres ntoskrnl.exe as requested: http://rapidshare.com/files/25872230/ntoskrnl.rar.html

no, unfortuneately i dont know how to use reshacker. as for another XP machine, im at my other server 2003 machine now.

well i guess darkside is not the culprit, however, after uninstallation, the normal bootscreen is gone. instead its all black with some strange dots at the bottom.

the "normal" progress bar has straight lines of the same height. this one is ugly and the lines all vary. i dont it even progresses; the lines all show at once, iirc.

usually when entering safe mode, it shows me all the drivers and stuff thats loading. With XPize and Darkside installed (i dont know which one to blame), the screen is just black with a unusual graphic at the bottom (looks like a messed up progress bar?). Anyone else notice this?

TCPIP patch works fine for my Server 2003 SP2.
