  1. I dont know about the addon, but Ill tell you that the files for ObjectDock's settings are in C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\ObjectDock(Plus) Just backup the files and restore them next time you install ObjectDock. Also make sure that any icons you use are in the same place.
  2. for teh mihd.net mirror, have you tried clicking on "Request download link"? After doing so you should click "Download File" on the right-hand side and voila.
  3. There is a section where you can setup user accounts. Click on Administrator and find the field for password and enter what you want.
  4. I use the builtin admin account and have no other.
  5. On my computer the nLited XP is faster but not by a lot. Also it may depend on your hardware.
  6. Well its working now.
  7. 1. iirc yes 2. yes, just add the archive through the hotfix section 3. its enough with the wmp slipstreamer
  8. Here my desktop:
  9. I have it set as a Live Bookmark, but it says it failed to load. Other feeds such as nLite and XPize work fine.
  10. You use vLite to integrate hotfixes, remove components, and make an unattended installation of Vista. Since you want to create an updated XP disc, use nLite. It installs fine on Vista.
  11. I had that happen too. I just reran vLite to make the ISO.
  12. C:\Program Files (x86)\MSN C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Collaboration C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Defender C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Mail C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Media Player C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Sidebar Just some empty folders that vLite didnt remove for Vista x64.
  13. 2. If you do have the Secondary Logon service, make sure it is running.
  14. HFSLIP can integrate all three. nLite can integrate IE7 and WMP11 (if you have WMP11 Slipstreamer installed).
  15. I uninstalled Kaspersky and I did not get a BSOD, but while vLite was building the image, I got message that vLite stopped working. Description: Stopped working Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: vLite.exe Application Version: 1.1.0.0 Application Timestamp: 46b65820 Fault Module Name: wimgapi.dll Fault Module Version: 6.0.6000.16386 Fault Module Timestamp: 4549ad99 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 0000ec75 OS Version: 6.0.6000.2.0.0.256.6 Locale ID: 1033
  16. SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION STOP: 0x0000003B No file/driver was mentioned. The BSOD happened during component removal somewhere around Windows Firewall. Im running a Vista x64 install that was vLited (1.0). and I did disable Kaspersky AV before running vLite.
  17. I really wish teh component removal feature would get more attention.
  18. Its not included. The new version just fixes the following issue:
