  1. Did ou restart with a fresh set of files ?
  2. Read the FAQ.
  3. Why do you start a second thread about that when you don't tell what's achieved in the 1st one ?
  4. ...talking 48bit LBA patch ... for this 40GB disk ... fo*l !
  5. Is the board in the same position when you try it inside and ouside the case ? I mean vertical/horizontal, in case the processor and cooler were pulled by gravity a different way. Does the processor fan spin normally untill it goes off ?
  6. If "portable", it's gonna be used in different positions, so any usb floppy drive that has a cable longer than 5" can have the plug fastened toward the front. Am I missing something ? Just trying to help.
  7. I guess the margin on that PIII does not allow him to offer "2 Days Introduction to safe Internet Browsing". On the other hand, buying XP would more than double the costs, making any offer from ebay much more interresting.
  8. It's not a mis translation, it an old transaltion from back when it said "Remove Press Any Key boot message". This issue is reported time and time again and comes from the fact that the left of the screen describes the option wether the right (enable/disable) describes what's done with the component. Idem with SFC. Nuhi apparently describes the option as a change to the OS, which makes sense. Changes are not enabled by default (no action, no removal, "enabled!") ... enabling the option translate in disabling the component, which confuses lots of people. Nuhi, I think the right of the screen should appear as keep(default)/remove instead of "enable(default)/disable". But who am I ?
  9. I believe this does work on XP Home.
  10. Have you checked "Enable Automatic resizing" in IE's Advanced (MultiMedia) options ?
  11. There's a few lines about this in nLite's FAQ, you could check them ?
  12. ..... .... easy eaaaasy. I suggest someone moves this post to the "Software Hangout" forum. And by the way, welcome. And also I don't have a clue what your problem is so I should better shut up.
  13. HDTune can test USB sticks, maybe it can test USB HDDs ? It's not an extensive test but at least a full read test.
  14. Sorry but you will have to. You removed the component, so you don't have the option to remove it again from the new set of files you created, that's why it's greyed out. nLite does not add Windows components, so only thing you can do is restart with your original CD and not remove SFC.
  15. The problem probably comes from the CD you start with. It might be unattended and missing/skipping OOBE.
  16. PCWizard does but I guess it will be the same reading as in Bios ?

    Help

I just did a search for "script" on your post. Nuhi puts some items in red, this is one of them. Maybe it means something.
  18. You might want to check nLite and its ADDONS section. In these forums (Members Contributed Projects).
  19. SP2 only, it is cumulative. That will also solve your problem with your 400Gig fully recognize.
  20. Copy/Paste those files in a new directory where you know you have full access.
  21. Also check your bandwidth.
  22. hum, excuse me.

    TinyXP

Depending on the file format of the movies and the clock of your PII, you might also get dificulties for that task.
  24. So the secondary PC has 2 IPs, right ? One for WiFi the other one for the Xcable. I think you need to use ICS on that one to share to the 3rd PC, this is with DHCP and on an other range. You are now using that 2nd PC as a "hub" which it is not. (cross my fingers hoping I didn't say something stupid )
  25. Has it always done it since the day XP was installed? Is it a second hand PC or did you buy/install it yourself ?
