Does anyone know how to get the two files above to copy to there directories?

Thanks, but know I have another problem your fixed inf gives me a can not find file Winboot.sys. Also the files copy themes + copy mspaint still do not copy.

Slayout1.inf even in Slayout2.inf they don't copy.

That stopped the rundll.exe error, but the 2 directories CopyFiles=Copy.themes,Copy.mspaint does not replace the files. Thanks, can you help with me the second problem?

This is what the inf file looks like in the copyfiles= CopyFiles=Copy.Boot,Copy.Cab,Copy.Command,Copy.EBD,Copy.GFWin,Copy.GFOffice,Copy.Help, Copy.HT,Copy.Inf,Copy.IOSubSys,Copy.Machine,Copy.Media,Copy.MSDA,Copy.MUI,Copy.System, Copy.System32,Copy.SysBckup,Copy.TC,Copy.TEdit,Copy.TViewer,Copy.VMM32,Copy.891711,Copy.918547 but when I add 2 more directories, copy.themes,copy.mspaint I get a rundll.exe error. Can someone help me fix this? Make note that all the directories are on the same line.

Its fine if one want to install a 100 executables (exaggeration) just to get an up dated system, well I don't. I'll just wait til someone post instructions how to update the package.

yes it does. I have tryed many different hdd. Anything over 20gb will not work on the compaq.

The bios see's nothing. It wont boot at all. Its just a black screen

I have partition a 30gb hard to 20gb and less, yet and still my comapq armada 7380dmt won't read it. What can I do to solve this problem? I have the latest bios and updates installed.

I ran the hotfix WINDOWSXP-KB934428-V3-X86-ENU.EXE with HFVER 0.0.3. It did not report all the files listed in the hotfix. The best thing to do, would be combine all the inf files + system files (the best stable files everyone agrees on) from NUSB.EXE + USB20DRV.EXE and using the latest USBSTOR.INF in post #602 in this topic then maybe we can go from there. _NUSB.INF _USB2UN.INF 1394.INF NODRIVER.INF NTMAP.INF USB2.INF USBNTMAP.INF USBSTOR.INF USB20DRV.INF

Its not my intentions to do anything illegal, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't doing anything illegal.

Don't mean to go H.A.M but I was told wether I downloaded it or borrowed a CD its all illegal, cause I don't own the original content. Like what the difference borrowing a cd or downloading, neither belongs to the persons who actually needs it. I admit I don't understand some laws but people who don't understand them as well, should stop acting like they know it all. Either its all illegal or its not. If I'm wrong then correct me, because i don't know.

How did you do this? I do think USB2.0 stack for 9x + NUSB should be combine as 1 updated usb pack for Win9X systems.

I asked the same thing but my topic was closed because???????? I found out the key I had got was a retail. I got my WinXP Pro up and running though.
