now 7zip also supports WIM files...just install 7zip...right click on any wim file...and open it. u will see diff. folder names . those are just your image names...extract it..thts it!!

F.Y.I. , FEBE ( Firefox Environment Backup Extension )backs up your extensions, themes, and (optionally) your bookmarks, preferences, passwords, cookies and just about everything else Firefox offers (it can even backup/restore your entire profile. so u can use all these things if u gonna format ur windows. i m taking my profile backup daily .

go for intel c2d this time...cheap and superb performance...highly overclockable...over 100%. trust me..i own E6300 myself. if u want cheap..go for E4300. intel going to cutoff prices more soon.

Hi frnds.. as far u know abt changing bootskin in vista tht u need to edit winload.exe.mui file in en-us folder right? but same thing i have checked for x64 vista edition, and found nothing in tht winload.exe.mui file. there are no resources to edit in it. it is smaller file in size..only 20 kb. is there diff. file for x64 edition to change bootskin? AMIT

as far i know i have never experienced this problem neither on x32 nor x64 vista ultimate. cant say wht can be the reason of ur problem. AMIT

Vista runs a digital signature check on the file with the progresbbar (NTOSKRNL/NTOSMPA), when changing bitmaps inside those files Vista will refuse to continue with its bootprocess, so you got stucked with an unbootable OS thnx for those virtual machines Idea what about a custom kernel file defined with bcdedit (like in boot.ini with XP)?? umm..no it cant have progress bar in this method. caz while quick boot is enabled, it is showing a BITMAP image as a bootskin. i dont know how to change tht original progressbar bootskin. if anyone knows plz share ur knowledge with us . AMIT

lol...yeah. that is simple method i m using . btw, is it is possible to set dremescene videos as background at 1st logon? suppose i have already integrated dremescene hotfix with vista installation. so dremescene would be enabled at 1st logon right? so cant we set dremescene wallpaper at 1st logon? ummm....go with E4320. it is cheaper and highly overclockable caz it having higher multiplier than E63XX series. so it will be easy to overclock it with cheap RAM.

Hi frnds, i hope u r familiar with NO-GUI method of bootskin changing. tht we need to msconfig>boot>enable NO-GUI boot right? but how can i do it unattended. i mean which command can enable NO-GUI boot option during setup? AMIT

E6320! AMD have no option for C2D this time. so E6320 is worth to purchase! its a highly overclockable. over 100%! i have seen many ppl running E6320 @ 3.7 GHz!! thts insane! go for it. look at mine config. below. AMIT

nice find gosh. i think this can be also done by changing hexadecimal values in winsetup.dll. i dont know exactly which values to change, but this switch method is easy than that . btw...how u found it? caz thr isnt any switch shown like "nosyscheck" for setup.exe! AMIT
