  1. I believe the topic starter is asking if Longhorn = WinXP SP3, in which case, NO! They may make a SP3 for WinXP, but Longhorn will NOT be WinXP SP3
  2. start.cmd importing RunOnceEX entries? As for the %ProgramFiles% problem, you'll need to enclose the path in quotes, but in RunOnceEX you'll need to escape the quotes ( \" )
  3. did you bother searching for ASMS?
  4. 2. Will be done in the next update, as well as an online App Switch DB. As for a sticky just for the installer types, it's really unneeded. Simply adding a page to the site would be better. Windows Installer is already listed on site, with the common methods, as is Wise Installer. InstallShield is listed as well.
  5. Please remember to use the CODE tags
  6. First....use CODE tags ( http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showto...ndpost&p=270687 ) Second, add OEMPreInstall=YES To the Unattended section of your answer file. Then the $OEM$ folder should be copied over as well. (For others reading, $OEM$ is ONLY placed along side of I386 when doing an install from booting from CD, otherwise it's in I386). I'll assume you know how to kick off the setup from the network share.
  7. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=11580&hl= I believe the topic start found his solution. [Unattended] FactoryMode=YES (Don't make a new section, just add FactoryMode to the Unattended section) Solves the problem.

  9. so far, it's just YOU. So I point to an error on your end.
  10. http://unattended.msfn.org/advanced/cosmet...oard/colors.htm Bravo on missing it...
  11. OEMPreInstall=YES in WINNT.SIF maybe?
  12. http://unattended.msfn.org/advanced/cosmet...lboard/text.htm
  13. $OEM$ must be in \$OEM$ not \I386\$OEM$ and OEMPreInstall=YES in WINNT.SIF
  14. if it was a sysoc.inf component, it is. Just add the enty back from sysoc.inf and you should be prompted with a message requiring the original XP disc. If it's not an sysoc.inf file, then...dunno
  15. like the new I? As far as I've figured out, only MODS and ADMIN can change it to how it's supposed to be. You have to edit the topic title after the topic has been made. Not editing it by editing a post, but by using the "Edit Topic Title" Moderation Option.
  16. Wrong forum. Moving now No, you don't need a clean CD. XPlode just replaces the batch files that you used to install the software
