  2. so you of course searched the gigantic registry tweak file in the sticky topic? Because i know you wouldn't be posting without doing the obvious thing first...
  3. you have to create the $OEM$ folders yourself in the same directory as I386. And di you ahve to copy paste from the guide? a simply link would have done nicely, even though the guide belongs to THIS site.
  4. read the included documenation.
  5. http://unattended.msfn.org/global/virtual.htm Last bullet under VirtualPC
  6. Where does it say "Boot Screen"? I'm just curious...and it's not directed at you because you're not the only one. Moving now

I'd recommend trying what I said, or Wraith will just come by this thread and close it as soon as he sees it. http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=38748

double click the file "run_with_logging.cmd" and see what the log says. If it complains about a missing XML, when then by golly create the XML.
  10. then you haven't read the EULA. It's really and truly that simple. Wraith might kill me for this...but YOU have to do something.
  11. I must admit, even I didn't read it the first time. But once you said to read it... ****!! I was looking forward to the rest, then it just stops...
  12. no you can't. /integrate isn't really a TRUE integration. The hotfix files still need to be run inorder for their install to be complete.
  13. Why post in the sticky? There is an entire forum for XPlode.... There is no xplode.xml simply because you have to create it. There ARE included sample XMLs in the release, that you could just rename to XPlode.xml and all will be fine.
  14. A. Never use a file from a different version of Windows. That's just asking for trouble. Second, did you ever try A. using expand -r syssetup.dl_ with the -r switch, or B. expand syssetup.dl_ syssetup.dll And specifying the output?
  15. You're lucky that I read almost every thread on this forum.... And actually, i believe it'd be better under Application Switches Too bad it's not finished yet...
  16. did you apply teh tweak, THEN restart?
  17. I'd be more inclined to believe nLite is cloning them...
  18. you could solve it simply by having them put in a card... Another option is to use the "SetupSourcePath" registry entry. If I get time later I'll do a search, but there has been code posted on it.
  19. Games don't use 60GB a month. I AM a game, and it doesn't come anywhere close. Xbox Live is the most bandwidth intensive one, and for february, only used roughly 8.9 GB. (it's routed through my computer)
  20. goin up now. Should work, and not return an error about a previously installed version. As for a real and true upgrade, i BELIEVE it does one. Actually, what i believe it does, is just install over the old one But I did a quick test with my old 5.0.7 MSI (never released, 5.0.8 came out right after I finished making it) which had the same upgrade codes, and the 5.0.8 MSI works fine now. So everything should work fine now. Hopefully I don't forget it if I update to 5.0.8e Uploading now, ETA 4 minutes till complete. Both MSI and CAB versions updated.
  21. I'll probally upload a fixed D for ya. I haven't decided what to do with the E.
  22. odd, I don't get the box. I just assumed that the property wasn't supported on CDs. How are you installing the files? if it's from a network share....I have no clue
  23. Not my decision?
  24. finally got around to changing topic title
  25. here's the thing....and I've tried to emphasize this on the rewrite. RUNONCEEX.CMD INSTALLS NOTHING! That being said, all it does, is add entries into the registry to SCHEDULE them to be installed at first logon. Now on to the REAL issue, OFFICE will NOT install at T-12. The registry is no where NEAR complete. Office only installs at first logon, and perhaps T-9
