  1. Those are the last known official switches for the original NullSoft installer. Goodluck.
  2. Just a heads up.... YOU'RE WRONG! Plain and simple. I put the file on the server, I've used it since back in the day. I've have conversations with the creator of the application. There is NO spyware/trojan/adware/virus in the BootEditor executable or in the downloaded package. Go figure that upon reformatting your computer, the trojan that you had causing it was gone. You can check the kernel yourself, bit by bit to verify what's altered and what's not. The only things that are altered are the image resources and the pallete address. You can verify the BMP file was written correctly simply by opening up the original file and comparing those sections.
  3. make sure that the INI file is NOT set to READONLY prior to Winamp starting. If you're copying over your own INI file from a CDROM, it will most likely be set to READONLY. Even if you don't, just check it anyway.
  4. The Installer doesn't create them for all users. I'll look into changing that when 5.1 comes out.
  5. Congratulations! I KNEW someone would come here and tell me to update the MSI to 5.1, even though it's STILL in beta status. Now quite honestly, I WON'T update the MSI untill Winamp.com's FRONTPAGE shows the change as ONLY THEN is it considered official.
  6. The only difference for Pro and Full packages, are indeed the installers themselves. They might not add in all the little Ad stuff that Full has in it in Pro, but i'm not sure. The main difference is that during setup, it should ask for a serial (if it's not already on the system). Other then that, the versions are exactly the same for use, with the exception of the Pro features are disabled till the serial is entered.
  7. there aren't any - for the switches.
  8. so did you merge the two version of XPCREATE? or just base this off the freeware one? Guess what i'm getting at...does this still do flash and download the updates for you? Good to see you finally back, atleast for awhile...
  9. I don't really see the point in this project honestly... to a capture program to work, you need to install the program in a clean state (it shouldn't have been installed previously) which is also the same requirement for the shrinker if I remember correctly. you won't be able to distribute your work, just instructions on how to repeat it. The amount of registry entries that Office installs is massive and would appear as though it freezes the capture program. A better route to take may be to directly edit the Office 2003 MSI file, and manually deleting the files that way. But this is the way the previous shrinker does it somewhat as well.
  10. so....i would have thought this would be obvious to you Bashrat since you deal with this part of setup.... You do remember "Windows" or rather the shell for windows isn't fully loaded and so very LITTLE will actually work. Let alone a program that uses Windows API calls and such.
  11. Last i saw...the Conditions are only available in the Registered versions....but anyway.... include-items.xml is just like any other part of the XML files. If you wanted, you could copy the contents of the XML file into the one that's including it and it would work just the same. That's all XPlode does anyway (but at the point of runtime.)
  12. please don't use Capital Letters either. It is really annoying.
  13. yes you were But at the moment, the development is on hold. Neither me nor Wraith (the guy helping me/writing most if not all of the PHP backend) are extremely busy at the moment. I plan to resume this weekend, but I have to look over everything he has done so I don't rewrite everything again (we're up to revision 5 i think now, each time improving and making things more effecient). I'll keep everyone informed on how things are going.
  14. Including a serial in the product for download made the file warez. Warez is simply program distributed unlawfully fully working.
  15. Seperate drive, I believe so....but i would have a completely seperate partiion for it as it will mess up the MFT. As for teh F6 and HDD issue, during configuring you selected to make the drive a SCSI not an IDE drive. the IDE setting will let setup see the drive just fine.
  16. I've already told the member that as soon as he has removed the contents that broke the rules, he is free to repost it.
  17. Open the XML file in IE. It should tell you about such XML based errors and just about where they are. (Unended quotes, nonclosed tags and such)
  18. Thanks for distributing a pirated version of Winamp. Topic Closed.
  19. I should point out to those others who come across this thread.... xper has final say on who becomes a moderator or not. I would recommend NOT PMing him actually. He knows he frequents the board and such things. If everyone who wanted to be a moderator PMed xper, then that would just irritate him and NONE of you will even be considered most likely. And knowing is half the battle.
  20. The syntax for your REG command is invalid. You're not escaping the embedded Quotes.
  21. alright, I'll reiterate my statement... what's the point of this Winamp MSI?
  22. not that I have a problem with another Winamp MSI (unless people start to confuse the two Then it'll just get irritating redirecting people), but why?
  23. http://unattended.msfn.org/advanced/methods/wpi.htm That's not enough pictures?
  24. you'll be hard pressed to find someone to do as you ask specifically for you.
  25. glad to see someone who could have asked this in RyanVM's forums ask it openly on the public forums.
