    When using a mouse in 8.1, since the spring update, you get this new menu: Because I use the original Windows 8 RP theme I have the issue that this menu is not shown. On my Tablet, when using touch I still see the old way: So it is possible to invoke this old menu even with using a mouse?

    yes, Intel graphic drivers are buggy and don't work with PAE.

    you still need the /3GB switch and IMAGE_FILE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE flag set.

    this happens when the disk was busy writing all data to the ETL file. Open the ETL with the viewer and look at the disk graph. If it is 100% for a longer time, replace your HDD with a SSD to fix this bottleneck.

    booting a GPT drive requires UEFI. Create 2 MBR partitions where the boot partition is smaller compared to 2.2 TB.

    thanks for sharing the result of your investigation. Which theme do you use? Maybe it has something to do with the theme + UxStyle.

    yeah, this compression seams to cause issues. I see this in the log very often: file cannot be decompressedWait for the consumer preview and hope they fixed it.
