    No, Aero Glass makes it easier to focus on the content. On none Aero system I always look at the highlighted (by the color) titlebar. That's why I used a gray theme version of Luna in XP which does the same. But after having seen the beauty of Aero Glass I can't go back.

    I have the 32Bit TP in a VM because of the smaller ISO size which had to download.

    your HDD is still the bottleneck. The queue depth at disk IO init is still over 60 (everything over 10 is bad). I also see some delay by the driver btath_a2dp.sys, btfilter.sys and btath_bus.sys (Bluetooth drivers?) , DeepFrz.sys and ATHR.SYS (Atheros wifi driver). Update all remove not needed ones and look if this improves boot a bit.

    The German word for No ("Nein") is pronounced the same way like nine, so maybe to avoid funny wordplay they avoided it.

    looks like you used the Windows 8 SDK, so the fiel is corrupted. But I can see bcmwl63a.sys calls. So update your Broadcom network drivers.

    I don't think that the key is limited to a lanuage/contry. This is the 32Bit Home Premium. I can't really see if this includes a DVD.

    I don't know the licensing in the UK. In Germany we can buy OEM versions easily.

    your HDD is busy all the time, that's why Windows boots slowly: Replace the WD HDD with a SSD to get a large boot improvement.

    SYMCHK.exe is part of the Windows Debugger which is included in the Widows SDK,
