  1. http://www.winbeta.org/comments.php?catid=1&id=9536 After step 4 install Vista Sp2 and next continue with step 5.
  2. integration is not available with vLite 1.2, you have to do it yourself with the Audit Mode, sysprep and capture method.
  3. read the post over your post You have to keep Event Log (and .NET because it needs it) and Volume Shadow
  4. your OEM Version may be the cause. With my Technet ISO Integration of Sp2 works fine.

  6. and if you leave the services everything install fine? If yes, keep the services and disable them only!
  7. pkgmgr does not use DualCore CPUs and so the whole integration take some time. Run it over night and you are fine
  8. try to keep Windows Search, Error Reporting and Remote Access Auto Connection Manager
  9. this is correct. This installs several drivers (mouse, video, shared folders). you can try old shooters like Quake 3 if you want to play them inside a VM.
  10. offline is not possible only for OEM versions on OEM Hardware!
  11. I have started VirtualBox and I see and option to select vhd files. Make a backup and try to use the vhd with VirtualBox

    vista sp2

you need a clean non vLited Vista to install the Sp2. Integrate Sp2 first (http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?s=&showtopic=130745&view=findpost&p=840453) and next remove your components.
  13. this is only possible for OEM discs. Do you have such one?
  14. vLite doesn't provide such an option. You have to do it yourself by following this guide: http://www.winbeta.org/comments.php?catid=1&id=9536
  15. for doing this you have to install the WAIK. Mounting can be done with ImageX
  16. no with Win7 it removes the hardlinks of the IE exe from the program folders and all n00bs are happy.
  17. I'm using vLite for a long time and add/remove works fine. You should know what to remove and what to keep. If you select nearly everything to remove it's clear that some parts do not work correctly.
  18. VPC emulates a graphics card. Because of this you can't have Direct3D. VirtualBox (my favorit tool) offers OpenGL support inside the VM. Try this out if your applications support OperGL.
  19. you are missing the following file: amd64_microsoft.windows.c..-controls.resources_6595b64144ccf1df_5.82.6001.18000_ar-sa_c225f582a3cec90c.manifest run the Update KB947821
  20. yes, you HAVE to use the x86 version!
  21. no, that only happens because 99% of the users are administrator under XP. When you run the software with limited accounts a lot of programs wouldn't run under XP correctly.
  22. I already told you it. Copy the x86 WIMAGPI.dll to your vLIte folder
  23. no, you can use vLite with Win7 too, because Win7 is mostly the same like Vista (which is good)
  24. you've copied the wrong WIMGAPI.dll to the vLite folder. You must copy the 32Bit (x86) WIMGAPI.dll
  25. I'm always integrating WS 4 and I don't have this.
