  7. @aviv00 this is a NTFS issues. NTFS can't detect hardlinks and counts the files several times when you query the size.

  10. NO! The files are stored inside WinSxS folder and are LINKED into the destination folders like it was in Vista! The Backup folder only contains important files which are protected by the WRP (Windows Resource Protection, the successor of the Windows File Protection from XP)

  12. vLite does not support addons. You can use Windows Post-Install Wizard (WPI) to install applications
  13. no you can't reinstall a completely removed component. You have to make a new DVD, leave the firewall in and reinstall your PC.

  21. open the install.wim with 7zip and extract the 1.xml and open it with a browser check for the build number. If the build number is 6000 you have the RTM, if the build number is 6001 you have Sp1
  22. please disable all running AntiVirus tools while working with vLite
  23. you have copied the amd64 (x64) version of the WIMGAPI.dll to your vLite installation folder. You have to copy the 32Bit (x86) version.
