  1. The world would simply come to a swift and brutal end.
  2. I found out that this issue is caused by an .inf error. As for which .inf I cannot tell you as I keep getting them while experimenting with addon packs.
  3. I am still here but as for the killing of mshta during installs that would be nice but the only way I could figure it out would be something like pskill. If I can find another way I would love to do it. As for developement it is still going on just slow as this is the school season and the current version is sooo stable...
  4. Yeah I would like to see what you did to.
  5. Cab Tool (Found on this forum)
  6. Yes it is the vmware issue vmware does not support winnt.sif video settings.
  7. Where can I find the contrast cursors?
  8. Place WPI.cmd in your $OEM$\$$\SYSTEM32 and call it from winnt.sif like so: [GuiRunOnce] "%systemroot%\system32\wpi.cmd" For some reason a lot of people seem to have problems running wpi.cmd from the cd.
  9. Great work m8!!!!
  10. Everyone is entitled to their opinion though thats why I never deleted this stoopid thread.
  11. I am doing some major work on the manual that is included with wpi.
  12. I prefer notepad2
  13. I make an sfx file with winrar that contains my themes and then put the entrie into svcpack like this for example if you have the sfx file configured to run totally silent then all you have to enter is "themes.exe" under [setupHotfixesToRun] if you need assistance building the sfx file I will gladly help you do that to. Plus it SAVES A LOT of space my theme files are 13.3 megs compressed and 245megs uncompressed.
  14. You must run modifype and makecab on it search the forum for a little app called "Compression Bin" it does all this and is a great little app. Aww hell here is the link: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=25442&hl=
  15. Thank you m8... @husalov If you did not modify any thing but the config.js then I can only see the error as being related to that. As for the program being s*** well over 30,000 user and even a couple of corporations might argue different. Once you get WPI figured out it is no big thing to add or delete entries, but it can be a b***h to start out. AS for the Java thing javascript and java are 2 completely different things as most knowledgeable users can tell you.
  16. WOW, well you can't please everyone sounds like he had an error in his config file.
  17. I believe it is like 4 times a year but when I was calling in I never had a problem with calling in and I did it ALOT of times...
  18. WPI.cmd runs a reg file that will keep the scripts from timing out. Why this happens is that during long installs windows thinks that the script is causing a time-out and asks if you want to continue. This resets everytime a new install is started so this is only likely to happen on longer installs like office or vmware.
  19. Something about the newer updates gives ntoskrnl a blocker which disallows custom boot screens. There is a little app called bootblock but the maker wont release it. search for it and PM him, you might be able to get it...
  20. Hey Kennedy I am wondering how do you get progress bars into runonce?? I want to try to implement this into WPI. Will you PM me please?
  21. # 1 = Countdown timer is part of the options button section I know annoying but it will be fixed. #2 = there is a section in wpi.cmd that does the restarting you just need to remove the "REM" from the front of it so it is active.
  22. Search! you are missing a key reg entry that is installed when you run wpi.cmd.
  23. It is disabled by default in the next version. Lesson learned.
