Actually from all I've heard you are doing it BACKWARDS you install XP first then Vista. But since you are wanting to kill Vista why not use nlite to integrate all drivers and then format the whole danged drive in one shot?

Actually the way XP activation is built as long as you are not changing hardware (with the exception of one or 2 minor peices) XP will activate unlimited times on THE SAME PC. Me and a friend have tested this by formatting our systems multiple times in a week and never had an issue with activation. Why are you formatting so many times anyways? Want to test something out use VMWare ar virtualPC (VPC is free BTW). I really think you are just flaimbaiting. Want to keep XP 32bit? leave 3 - 3.5 gigs ram in there and all will be fine! Call MS one more time and CALMLY tell them your situation and hope they will be understanding. Other than that wait for the 120 or 180 days till MS flushes their activation server and re-install then. (And hope you haven't gotten your keys blacklisted with all this nonsense!)

OK here goes my 2 cents. #1 Are you just adding them in as hotfixes or ar you extracting them first? Don't extract them just select them all or drag 'n drop to the hotfix window. You'll know nlite recognizes it by the simple fact it will add a line with the addons title. #2 Don't mess with the hardware support area you aren't saving much with that section and you never know when you want to change hardware.

Here is what I managed. (Not perfect but closer IMO...)

ok initial reactions and thoughts: I really, really like the rebuild. But there are a couple of issues I see with the sysdm.cpl I am attaching a pic. You coud squeeze it together quite a bit. It is way too wide. The main graphics has a white section at the top and bottom that just don't look right. your "Globe"s shadow look funky (Weird) I couldn't acces any of the other buttons on the installer untill after a reboot (besides the main install button and the first extras button. (Feature maybe I dunno) Will there be source patching for 2000? That would be sweet. Are you using my Vdrive or dougiefresh's? Mine has had some code optimizations that I have yet to upload if you are. Maybe move the genuine windows pic down to the bottom reight refion and shorten the width up alot? I will give it some play and see if I can give you a pic of what I mean.
