  1. I and a another person, who wishes to remain anonymous are continuing it.
  2. http://www.wpiw.net/downloads/addons/Kels_...acer_build5.cab Size - 1.06 MB MD5Hash = A76788942CA01F5E4037EA55E79278DE Here is an addon that does pretty much that... It installs Notepad++ to the defualt dir and uses a reg entry and a dummy file to fully replace the standard windows notepad... (You use nLite and add it as a hotfix or the RVMIntegrator to add this into your windows source) Nope that wouldn't work because notepad++ has over 50 files that it uses and is dependant on. Notepad++ is not standalone. It needs alot of files and folders.
  3. Definatly something to remember Gurglemeyer that really gets my thumbs up.
  4. OK if you download the "Tools" archive http://www.wpiw.org/downloads/Tools.rar Contents: WPI Config Lister CDSwitch 3 Custom themes for CDSwitch autorun.inf <-- Updated and fixed wpi.ico New icon thanks to WolfX2 TaskKillS.exe from sadicq TaskKillS Instructions Cleanup.exe (Deletes ALL icons from the desktop) Reboot.exe (Dialog box that will reboot in 60 sec unless cancel is pressed) CDSwitch is built just for that kinda thing. You simply have it ask for the next cd say for your office cd on commandline1, then have your office istall on commandline2 aaaand then have your commandline3 be the call for the original disk or the net disk.
  5. Actually it would be wmp.in_ inside your i386 directory.
  6. They are 2 COMPLETLY different OS'es, they just look the same.
  7. Ok did you select tweaked or vanilla version and did you add any hotfixes? Also does your Windows language and WMP11 language match? Are they the same?
  8. OK I'll bite. How did you install it?
  9. vivp.exe is the package that VTP uses to finish its integration of the little "Extras" you're supposed to get with it.
  10. Yeah don't use VTP. Can you ctrl-alt-delete and kill vivp.exe? Other than that make sure you actually have vivp.exe on your disk where it is supposed to be. WAIT?!?!? JUST what kind of modifications?
  11. Yeah resd the help that comes with it. Its actually pretty easy...
  12. LOL I was bettting he doesn't even have that option anymore so many people remove it nowadays..
  13. SYSTEM RESTORE????
  14. Kaspersky you extract the .msi file from inside the .exe with winrar or 7zip and then use the /qn switch It all was very easy to find please use the search feature as it will usually give you a proper answer.
  15. All of these can be easily found by using the search feature. Like this since I have some extra time: WinXP Manager 5.1.9.exe /s ACDSee = Start installation and when the first window appear, go to Temp folder and pick up from there the file ACDSee 10 Photo Manager.msi (is located in a folder C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\Local Settings\Temp\...). then use the /qn switch YPOPs! 0.9.5.1.exe /VERYSILENT Shockwave = go here http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/alternates/ download and save the version you need then use the /s switch... More to follow.

  17. Easyboot.... http://www.ezbsystems.com/easyboot/ May not be free yet it is useable for free if you don't mind a watermark on your boot menu. However it is pretty cheap and extremly easy to use.

  22. Don't you mean .inf?? Also just add it into your registry and then export it in reg format. Then add it in regbefore. Or use this and just fill in the blanks Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\VMware, Inc.\VMware Workstation\License.wsace.6.0.200907] "StartFields"="Cpt, ProductID, LicenseVersion, LicenseType, Field2" "Field2"="AdminUI, Epoch" "Cpt"="COPYRIGHT (c) VMware, Inc. 1999-2007" "ProductID"="VMware Workstation for Win32" "LicenseVersion"="6.0" "LicenseType"="User" "AdminUI"="1" "Epoch"="2009-7-1" "Hash"="1e099483-7d42b6f8-1d3986e3-bfa1b70d-5c9b66db" "Serial"="*****-******-*****-*****" "Name"="Kelsenellenelvian EverDawn" "CompanyName"="EverDawn Unlimited" "LastModified"="2007-12-21 @ 07:37:47 UTC"
  23. That would be a HUGE mistake as windows uses it during setup and for all default txt files. Why in the world would you want to do this?
  24. Slow down here. Are you saying you made your disk for the one pc and have custom files and what not, but when you give it to a friend or "use it on another pc" it doesn't work? So tell me which custom files did you use and did you use nLite? If you used nLite then post your last_session.ini please (as an attachment)
